Veteran actor Kevin Spacey has been accused of sexual harassment and assault by several coworkers working for his hit Netflix series "House Of Cards" as the actor faces allegations that he made sexual advances towards actor Anthony Rapp when the latter was just 14 years old.
CNN reported Thursday that eight people working for or who previously worked for Spacey's Netflix show described a "toxic" work environment created by the actor, who one of the sources said sexually assaulted him during an early season of the show. All eight sources remained anonymous for fear of retribution.
That source, a former production assistant, described an encounter with Spacey in which the actor "cornered him" and initiated inappropriate and unwanted sexual contact.
"I told him, 'I don't think I'm ok with this, I don't think I'm comfortable with this,'" the former assistant said, adding Spacey grew "visibly flustered," fleeing the trailer and leaving the production for the remainder of the day. "I was in a state of shock," he said. "He was a man in a very powerful position on the show and I was someone very low on the totem pole and on the food chain there."
The same former assistant described Spacey's behavior as both "predatory" and "routine."
"I have no doubt that this type of predatory behavior was routine for him and that my experience was one of many and that Kevin had few if any qualms about exploiting his status and position," he added. "It was a toxic environment for young men who had to interact with him at all in the crew, cast, background actors."
Netflix announced earlier this week that it would suspend production of what was to be the final season of "House Of Cards" over the allegations. It was also announced this week that Spacey will not be honored with the the 2017 International Emmy Founders Award as a result of the accusations.
The International Academy has announced that in light of recent events it will not honor Kevin Spacey with the 2017 Intl Emmy Founders Award, read a tweet from the International Emmy Awards account.
Spacey has apologized, saying he is beyond horrified to hear Rapps account and that he did not remember the incident. He has not yet responded to the newest wave of allegations.
Damn, when it rains, it frigging pours...
No sympathy.
Enjoy the ride, Kev.
that will do pig.
Allegations are one thing...but when are arrests being made and law suits being filed?
Hit these pervs in their designer pocketbooks!
I remember the phrase... just don’t remember the movie...
(I hope I am not the first person to make that reference)
Hollywood is turning against him so viciously because he broke the code. He told everyone he molested a 14 year old boy because he is a homo.
The truth that homos like young boys is something they try to deny to the death.
one of the best movies ever, babe. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rjQtzV9IZ0Q

You are absolutely right.
I loved that movie (Babe). The human star of the movie; James Cromwell, (77) has made a second career of getting himself arrested at various environmental protests.
Not a lot of good roles available for an actor at that stage in life.
Spacey is a low hanging fruit. (pun intended). his connection is the dems and obama directly. bet they diddled together.
What a demented person!
The title song from that movie reminded me of Creepy Uncle Joe => https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4XMvWIRmx0
These ‘guys’ sound like women!
The lid is off and the pot is boiling over.
Who is the next Hollyweirdite to get scalded.
The Spacey Foundation website that they took down still available for viewing via wayback.
Would bet money on it.
