Constant digging for 'why' is getting old.

There has been no new news for days about the mass shooting in Vegas. It feels like the case has already gone cold. Do you think law enforcement is keeping big news from us? I find it amazing that there is virtually no news on this story anymore.

Plenty of it. You just have to look. Prime-time news would have to be renamed Paddock news to deal with it all. For instance, the guy reported $5m of income mostly from gambling wins in 2015. Good point. There’s been a lot of information out there that was contradictory at best and false at worst.

Investigating, gathering information. Unlike the MSMLSD bunch people are out there getting the real facts not hip shooting like they do.
I dunno, but they are looking like maroons...
We, the public, do not have a right to know every detail as it’s developed. Also, there are doubtless several agencies contributing to the effort. It would be insane if each one held news conferences and divulged what they’d found, especially before they’d coordinated with the other agencies.
Let’s suppose, for instance, that an agency has discovered there was an accomplice. If they reveal that before they have thoroughly investigated, it may give the accomplice warning to escape.
We live in a world that appears to offer us THE TRUTH twenty four hours a day. In reality, though, it is just entertainment, not news and certainly not the truth.
Let’s just chill and let the police do their jobs. In my experience detectives know what they are doing and how to do it. When the full story is known, or when releasing information will not harm the case, they will hold a news conference.
No clear spin or political advantage for liberal establishment.

Likely the investigation has largely moved away from the locals and increasingly into the hands of the always silent FBI.
They have the budget to pick through every nit and are not sharing much, if anything, with the Las Vegas team of LE.
The media wore themselves out.
Yeah, law enforcement needs to build an "iron-clad" case against the shooter.
Only one small issue with that plan, the shooter is DEAD !!!
So what are they investigating ?
Because they realized the shooter had stopped shooting. It was probably harrowing to go anywhere near the door for some amount of time. Paddock let 200 rounds rip down the hall.
