Do you own an old Muscle Car?
What's the story?
What is it?
Where did you find it?
Does it run?
Will it ever run?
1968 RoadRunner I bought from a guy in 1973 at NAS Mer, he said it had a pushrod making noise, well it wasn’t a pushrod, but it was a rod. Then I bought a 70 Plum Crazy 440 Challenger Still have a few and drive them from time to time.the noise and the rapidus acceleratus are good for the soul
Trans Ams and Camaros from the 70’s are going up in value, the 70’s was 40 years ago.
Yes it is.
it was a rod, through the oil pan?
Yeah it’s no MC but still cool. I can’t believe that body style in coming up on 30 years. T-tops awesome. Under 150K awesome.
I’m not a Ford guy, but yours are SWEET!
It was the same engine as the Fox Mustang except Speed Density instead of MASS air.
Loved the look of the Fairlane
My son and I own a 1979 TransAm with a 1969 Catalina 400 in it. Long Story...
It runs but it will run better.
Well,it's still all Pontiac;)
He just needs to remember the secret code, according to GM.
1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2
I have a ‘67 GMC truck that I bought as a project. It has a 327 with a 4-barrel carb, and a 4 speed manual transmission. It’s not a “muscle car,” per se (at least, not yet).
:^)
LOL.
They are getting hard to find.
I named her "Miss Lucy" (after the same-named lady in the classic song "Midnight Special"). Took me three years to resto-mod her, including the sequential turn signals and rotating headlight covers. Her license plate was "LOUDCAT."
I'd drive her to work and have to park in the garage. She set off all the car alarms as I burbled my way down the lanes. God I loved that car.
You mean rice burner??
Yes youd be called Supremacists causing the Malthusian collapse
of world order
I agree that was the best Z body style. I would say the 90 - 96 series were the best Z cars ever. I had a 90 na and a 93 tt. The twin turbo was faster than almost every muscle car back in the day.
Ive slowed down in my old age. But I do have a fairly nice 67 GTO I drive on nice weekends.
My wife inherited a Cutlass 442 convertible about ten years ago. Sounded and looked cool but those cars of that era are really hunks of junk. Bad suspension, horrible handling, ridiculous brakes and really poor reliability. We couldn’t sell it fast enough after the glamour wore off when one of the Thrush mufflers fell off.
