Son makes my night!
After taking my dog for walk I returned home to find my 24 year old son watching the Lions play the Giants. He proceeds to tell me about an outrageous and obnoxious Commercial for the Gap. "It was a black guy and an over the top transgender dude in a fake dark wig singing." He looks the commercial up on YouTube and plays it for me.
The video labeled "Bridging the GAP" begins and the "Tranny" my son is disgusted by is CHER!! He sincerely has no idea who she is or was.
What a great night!
Aerosmith’s flipside hit, Lady Looks Like A Dude
Yep, they’ll take the money (executive office, etc.) but the goal is to tear it all down from within.
And all that will be left is Amazon battling Wal-Mart (online and in warehouses).
Long wavy hair like Tiny Tim's.
Mae West was "big" in the 1920s and 30s.
She made some records in the 60s and some film appearances in the 70s.
most people are shocked at comparing Cher or Madonna to Mae West, but they really are careers that hang on something they did 40 years ago.
May West was a rubberized parady of her younger self. Big Boosmy blond in her eighties. All enhancement, surgery and corsets.
Same with Cher. She is a plastic surgery wonder, Like Mae West she is striving to look the same. Yuck.
as is fonda, Madonna et al...
Yes. Done with Levi’s. If a company wants to “corner” the 3-5% LBGTQ?BINARY market, they can have it.
There is a new England Bank that has a commercial showing two men kissing each other.
I am NOT kidding. I almost fell off the sofa when i saw that.
One of the more controversial movie stars of her day, West encountered many problems, especially censorship. She bucked the system, making comedy out of prudish conventional mores, and the Depression-era audience admired her for it.
Mary Jane "Mae" West (August 17, 1893 November 22, 1980)[1] was an American actress, singer, playwright, screenwriter, comedian, and sex symbol whose entertainment career spanned seven decades.
She wrote all of those lines with the double entendres. (Which I didn't know, until reading the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mae_West)
Her productions aroused controversy, which ensured that she stayed in the news, which also often resulted in packed houses at her performances
My eyes are not so good but he looks like Samuel L. Jackson to me and sounds like it.
