Went off here when Joe Montana retired. That was about when the political nonsense started. And once it was off, I realized what a terrible time sink it had been in my life. Since then, I have done “real things” in which I get to participate, and spend time with friends and family instead of being a TV sports “hermit!” I was being selfish to my family and really to myself too.

Many years ago, I rejected the moronic corporate requirement that employees be sport spectators. Rejected the pushes for withholding from checks for so-called charities that were anti-family, too, despite the firings. There are other kinds of work. It’s time to study, design and build. School is never out.
