We put it to the lick test.
McDonalds Nasi Lemak Burger is back with a couple of new sidekicks, like some rather dull potato wedges - and this rather interesting Sweet Corn Cone ($1). It tastes like the fast food chain's well-loved vanilla soft serve ice cream perfumed with a subtle corn flavour.
Its reminiscent of the old-school slab version between wafer biscuits you get from the ice cream cart uncle, but softer, creamier and smoother.
It wouldve been even yummier if it were studded with crunchy corn kernels. Still, its pretty refreshing in this current hot weather.
Worth trying, we say.
Available at all McDonald's dessert kiosks.
I don’t want kernels of corn in my
ice cream, but thanks for asking.
Yum! GMO franken-corn to go along with your GMO franken-burger.
I’m still working up to rolled ice cream stuff.. see all the local shops lately? ain’t nothing like a root beer float.
an offering like this could do quite well in the south bay ‘hong kongie’ market..
McDonald’s is not real food.
You can see them the next day.
I know it won’t make a lick of difference, but since McDonalds came out with their rainbow french fry container, I’ve decided to drive past them rather than drive through. Then I noticed a commercial for McDonalds - lots of occasions for celebrating at McDonalds. The “wedding” shot was a female kissing another female. So, I’m done like dinner. I don’t eat fast food very often, but I did like McDonald’s fries, and their coffee is the best. Or should I say, WAS the best.
I see space ships hovering over mine daily.
LOL, I thought it said ‘Corn Pone’!.................
Heh.
McDonald’s is serving Corn Pone??...........................oh, wait.................
Aw, man. You beat me to it. LOL.
A lot of people reported that the coffee was great, but it was vomitous every time I tried it.
In most regions, most markets. It was just vile.
If you search “mcdonalds sweet corn cone” in Google, this thread is result #2.
I haven’t had this, but I’ve had corn ice cream and it’s very good. The corn is pureed in the making - no corn kernels.
Here you go. Check out the McNuggets.
Or do they mean Porn Cone?
