The watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, or CREW, points out that the president has been pictured wearing the hat, both in red and in white, in two official photos released by the White House. He wore the white version on his trip to Houston Tuesday.
"Even removed from the hurricane, it's pretty inappropriate," CREW spokesman Jordan Libowitz said. The issue at play here is free advertising for Trump products, according to CREW.

I've noticed a snarky undercurrent in many media articles where they consistently call him "Trump" and leave off his title, IMO, trying to denigrate him.
I realize that sometimes they have to truncate a heading, but all too often you see it in the article, and occasionally even here - although that last is either out of familiarity or laziness in typing. I make it a point to use his title whenever I can, out of respect - and, thinking of the alternative, the joy of typing it.
I think they hold hands a lot for people their age and rank.
