President Donald Trumps decision to part ways with Steve Bannon can be understood as an effort to save his presidency after Charlottesville. It may turn out to be the beginning of the end for the Trump administration, the moment Donald Trump became Arnold Schwarzenegger.
...
Bannon was not just Trumps master strategist, the man who turned a failing campaign around in August 2016 and led one of the most remarkable come-from-behind victories in political history. He was also the conservative spine of the administration. His infamous whiteboard in the West Wing listed the promises Trump had made to the voters, and he was determined to check as many of them off as possible. Steve Bannon personified the Trump agenda.
With Bannon gone, there is no guarantee that Trump will stick to the plan. That is why too late, in retrospect conservative leaders wrote to the president Friday to advise him that Bannon and campaign manager-turned-counselor Kellyanne Conway were too valuable to lose. Bannon had delivered for the movement, reportedly convincing President Trump to withdraw from the Paris Climate Accords, and to visit Israel on his first trip abroad.

Nothing I have posted would lead one to come to the conclusion you came to.
I can very easily support Trump without ever supporting Bannon as part of his staff.
Steve is out for Steve. Trump is out for the American people.
Go ask the 15 conservative groups who have raised alarm bells over Bannon’s departure. We now have RINOs and NY liberals at the helm. This is not the Trump ship many boarded. Indeed, its doomed to sink after four years if not sooner. Many think his 35% approval rate would soon be in the single digits.
Does drudge ever link to Brietbart articles?
Conway turned the campaign around.
that is the determined face of a man who can make the Clinton “arkancides” list, look like a Sunday School Ice Cream Social at the baptist church...
Total BS. If they ‘boarded the Trump ship’, they sure haven’t made it known. The Republicans have fought him every step of the way. American people are p*ssed off about it. The 15 conservative groups are nothing but DC insiders who get their cash from the RNC. Case in point, little Billy Kristol and Stephen Hayes. Hard working Americans in flyover country voted for this President and want him to be able to do his job. No one gets a rat’s ass about “conservative groups’. Sheesh.
Lately Drudge only links to WaPo and NYT. Very telling. Can we stay Deep State?
I didn’t bite for any conservative group. I didn’t vote for Bannon. I did vote for DJT.
WE must stand in the gap. We must pray as if we really mean it. We must work even harder this election cycle
If Donald does go full on RINO, you will indeed see full on rebellion in the USA, and you will further deterioration of our society.
Bannon represented the true conservatives who was willing to upend the status quo and derail the gravy train of the Cheap Labor Express, H1-Bs, and end the Dreamer amnesty.
That ended yesterday. Get used to President Prince Jared Kushner and First Lady Princess Ivanka and the other West Wing RINOS and Democrat liberals who are now running the show. Time to look for a new leader.
