“The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant”

I would LOVE to see this done via Netflix. 3rd book in the 1st trilogy IMO is the best single book I’ve read outside of the Bible.

Watching someone walk the Pattern would be really amazing with today’s CGI.

Great minds think alike.

Tom Clancy’s Red Strom Rising would make an excellent mini-series.

Atlas Shrugged. I know they already made it into three (3!) movies, but it really does need the miniseries treatment.

The Vorkosigan Saga

Lots of material. Very interesting protagonist. A funnier, less pretentious Dune-like saga.

I would nominate all of Matt Bracken’s

If only. I'd actually watch TV again.

ALL of the OZ books, in order, by Frank Baum! Let Peter Jackson direct for, either, a TV series, or a movie series! Ditto, the entire Little Nemo in Slumberland stories!

Yes, as a kid I loved the book, the sequels less so each-by-each.

Too big a book, too grand a scale to fit on the small or large screen.

Probably too good a book for the screen as well...the imagination does what the camera can’t.

She probably would have slept with him anyways was the really disgusting part about it.

What’s worse is he sleeps with the daughter from the rape years later.

So the first 2 seasons would be great, the next 7 would be boring, unmemorable and not worth watching, the 2 leading up to the climax would be amazing, and the finale would ensure that no high fantasy makes it to TV ever again.

That would require Game of Thrones level treatment. (I am not disagreeing.)

The first and second trilogies were extraordinary. He waited too long to write the third.
