A former QVC executive filed a lawsuit on Thursday, against the matchmaking company she paid $150,000 to help her find a mate.
In the lawsuit, divorced mother-of-four Darlene Daggett said Kelleher International promised to hand pick her wealthy bachelors, with the goal of finding someone she could spend her retirement years with.
Instead, the 62-year-old former president of QVC's U.S. commerce, says she forked over six figures but ended up suffering a series of disastrous dates with men who were more than just unsuitable.
'Kellehers "highly screened" matches for Daggett included men who were married, mentally unstable, physically ill, pathological liars, serial Lotharios, stalkers, convicted felons, and men unwilling or unable to travel and/or the subject of professional sanctions,' Center City lawyer M. Kelly Tillery wrote in the lawsuit, filed in federal court in Philadelphia and obtained by Philly.com.

She might have done better on Tinder.
I also wondered who called those high-level “match-making” services whose adverts one sees in airline magazines
Because wealthy bachelors are just lining up for blind dates with middle aged marriage minded divorced mothers of four.
So, basically, an old woman wanted a rich guy who would drop everything to travel with her.
Cinderella fancies die hard.
However, men who merit marrying aren’t interested in paying for moldy bread from the leftovers bin, when they can secure quality merchandise instead.
The matchmaking agency clearly lied to her and extracted money from her under false pretenses. It was fraud and they indeed should not be allowed to keep getting away with it.
On one hand she should have known better, but I am sure the agency presented itself as a reliable agency and they basically extorted money from her under false promises.
I was at a business event and one of the men walked in with his new wife from the Ukraine. OMG. She was beautiful, tall, long legs, blonde hair down to her backside. Conversations stopped. He claimed he met her on a plane. The real story was he saw the ad in a magazine on a plane.
The rest of the story: he actually married her and they had a baby. Then her entire family came to live with him. LOL If you are wondering, yes, he is old and he has a lot of money.
Dating sites are mostly scams.
Try signing up with even Match (one of the better ones) and two hrs later, you will start getting pings from what I call “Underwear Models”
The goal is to get new users into paying customers.
Women get the same thing...

...included men who were married, mentally unstable, physically ill, pathological liars, serial Lotharios, stalkers, convicted felons, and men unwilling or unable to travel and/or the subject of professional sanctions.......and Methodists!
In the single world, we call that a “gum smile.”
What was the guy on the left’s name before he transitioned?
Any reasonably well to do man who’s want to marry a divorced mother of four needs to see a shrink, given all the horrors such a relationship is likely to bring into his life.
My single years are more than a decade behind me so my experience is a bit dated (no pun intended), but why do you call ‘Match’ ‘one of the better ones’ ?
My dear Miss Daggett, if they are men having to rely on an expensive ‘dating/matchmaking’ service, then they are worse off than you are................
“Because wealthy bachelors are just lining up for blind dates with middle aged marriage minded divorced mothers of four.”
Just like we’re lining up to jump into industrial grade chipper-shredders. Great way to end up no longer being wealthy. I’ll stick with my dogs.
OYE
$150k—WOW. If what she says is true, I would sue also.
Then again, I would never use a dating service in the first place.
How narrowly did this wench define her suitable suitors? “Must be rich, monogamous, devoted, willing to travel, housebroken ...” Sounds pretty picky considering what she brings to the table.
