Security footage from a local nightclub and a college dormitory has cleared a University of California student of rape.

Arman Premjee, 20, was accused of sexually assaulting a 19-year-old fellow student in her dorm room after meeting at Banditos Taco & Tequila in Los Angeles on April 1.

However, the security footage showed her kissing Premjee, leading him out of the nightclub and making obscene sexual gestures.

Doesn’t answer the question of whether he Cosby-ed her.

I wonder if she has any money. Seems like enough here to give him a pretty strong malicious prosecution case. To him, though, I’d point out that hook up culture isn’t always everything it’s cracked up to be.

She then makes a sexual gesture to a friend - poking a finger through a circle made with her hand - behind his back. Furthermore, security footage from her dormitory caught her signing him in.

Indicates a certain level of willingness.

The story as reported doesn’t really help determine if he was guilty. The claim was that either she was too drunk to consent, or, as the charge indicated, he drugged her.

The way the drugs work, they don’t make you pass out, it’s not like you have to carry the drugged person out of the bar.

And the video doesn’t clearly show that she is not drunk. ANd if she was drunk, or drugged, it should not make any difference if she was the “instigator”. Of course, if he drugged her, the whole point would be to get to that end game, and if he looked reluctant, that would be an act.

Now, it didn’t look from the clips that she was all that drunk. Since there’s a person where she signed in, I’d like to hear what they said about her state.

But the date rape drug could well present this way. I don’t know if they had any evidence at all that such a drug was used, and I’m certainly not saying I think he is guilty. Just that I’m not sure the video makes me dismiss the case without hearing other evidence.

I’d like to hear from her friend, who was interacting with her. Is making obscene gestures a normal thing, or is it a sign of drunken stupor? Did the guy at the desk think she was about to pass out? Is there any evidence the guy had purchased date rape drugs, and sign of them in her system?

Outstanding demonstration of the Freeper tradition of not reading the article or watching the video before posting Sir.

Congratulations.

The criminal case was dismissed.

But that carries no weight in the bizarre star chamber of campus Title IX proceedings. He is still at risk.

So if the guy didn’t rape her, why is her identity still shielded and her face on the video blurred?

Did he “roofie” her, is she lying, was the alcohol she consumed at the bar still being absorbed during the time she appeared to be in possession of her faculties but prior to the moment of penetration, or was she in a state of alcohol blackout?

“The woman told detectives when questioned that she didn’t remember anything from that night.”

“People who experience blackouts suffer an impaired ability to decide and judge, or possess minimal or no control at all over their impulses. The occurrence of an alcohol induced blackout can be unpredictable both in severity and in timing. They can last for a few minutes or for much longer. There are stories of people having blackouts for up to a week and getting up to all kinds of behaviour.

“According to medical researchers, when an individual experiences an alcohol induced blackout, his consciousness remains throughout the period, but he does not have complete recollection of what happened during that time. What transpired was not captured by the brain for recall.”

“Having food in your stomach will help slow the processing of alcohol. A person who has not eaten will hit a peak BAC typically between 1/2 hour to two hours of drinking. A person who has eaten will hit a peak BAC typically between 1 and 6 hours, depending on the amount of alcohol consumed.”

“Roofies cause sedation, a feeling of extreme intoxication, and amnesia. ... It’s not easily detected if you drop a pill into someone’s drink, so this is the typical method used.

“After consuming the drug, the effects start to kick in after around 20 or 30 minutes. You’ll start to feel as though you’re very drunk, have difficulty speaking or moving, and may eventually pass out.”

the simpler explanation is that the accuser is just another crazy bipolar b^&$#

that also happens to fit actual facts as you will see in the article

she could be looking at jail time for false accusation

The claim was that either she was too drunk to consent, or, as the charge indicated, he drugged her.

Neither of which allegations are proven by the clip either. And since it's her obligation to prove the charge -- not his to prove his innocence -- she ain't got squat.
