Everything that doesn’t want to kill you is bigger in Texas. ;)
I know the Huntsman normally are harmless, even killing the bad spiders, but I’m okay that our jumping, non web building spiders are all small and cute here....

That’s a Big Ass Spider.......
Which, BTW, is the title of a very funny campy sci-fi movie.....
Worth watching if you’re in a silly mood...

Years ago, I flew into Alice Springs Australia, and folks down there had funnel spiders they had captured encased in acrylic.

I would pick up these paperweights, and be filled with marvel and terror at the same time.
They told me that not only were these spiders aggressive, they were incredibly FAST!

Normally, I use a paper cup and a sheet of paper to capture and remove a spider.
That spider would require a bucket and thick cardboard. And I think I would hurl the bucket as far as I could when it comes time to release the spider away from the house.

I tend to like spiders, and I leave them alone including black widows. Have you ever seen a fight to the death between a black widdow and a bumble bee? It’s fascinating up close and personal!
However, a spider as large as that one on the door...not sure I could handle having those around unless they are poisonous snakes.

How would that thing shown here compare to a camel spider in the Middle East? I’ve heard about them, but never seen one.
