Top U.S. General Hints at Military Action Against North Korea in a ‘Few More Months’
The chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff says the U.S. might use force against North Korea as early as this fall. Did you hear that, Pyongyang? How about you, Beijing?

Several media outlets have reported that Gen. Joseph Dunford, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said over the weekend that war with North Korea was not “unimaginable.” What has gone unreported is that he also suggested the administration is giving diplomacy only “a few more months.”

The Chinese are mobilizing on the NK border as we speak, preparing for contingency and collapse of the regime.
Cut the country in half, agree to no nuclear weapons and wipe fatso out.
Doesn’t say Trump announced it.

Er. The Army is in the middle east and other places. Not much we can do conventionally. Not much we could do if the entire army were there. The NKs don’t count on Allah to guide their bullets. The NK defenses in depth have to be seen to be believed.
All I can say if the U.S. plans an attack for the fall I hope its a thorough campaign and not a stop and start routine like we did in Vietnam.
A winter war will be hell not only for the North Korean civilian Populace but the south as well.
We also must not forget about the North’s sponsor China.What are her plans?
From what I read she is building up her forces along her southern border with North Korea.
Now that could be to prevent an immigrant invasion or it could be preparation to join the North in its defense against a U.S. attack.
Its going to be an interesting time.
Tactical nukes never take long. And that’s what we’ll have to use to take out artillary. EMPs to hit the command and control. The Nork army is a Potemkin village - and a starving one at that!

The North Koreans seem to have gotten more advanced in this process, than many had originally thought.
I hear on the news, that the North is possibly about a day away from their next test. Could be our powers that be, are possibly mulling whether to take action for this one, and maybe this is a way to telegraph that message to the guy making the decisions in NK, not to do anything destabilizing, from his end.
Or maybe he’s just a nobody who spouted his mouth off.
Though looking at who the comment is attributed to, I somehow doubt that.
Sounds tailor made for a neutron bomb or three. Unless we stopped making them.

Two good friends survived the Frozen Chosin!
One was a 19 year old Navy corpman assigned to a Marine Battalion.
The other was a 19 year old Marine Lance Corporal.
They ended up working for the same company and discovered over a dinner one night.
They had survived the Frozen Chosin and didn’t know each other, during that time in hell.

I used to believe that stuff, but now I’m pretty sure it’s propaganda. Been hearing it since the 1970s and there’s simply no way this regime remains standing in 2017 if the propaganda is even one-third true.
I have to wonder if that picture of NK at night - with the lights out across the whole country - is an example of their defensive protocols (when surrounded by hostile powers, going dark at night makes a lot of sense) and not a demonstration of a lack of ability to produce electricity.
That governments lie about their enemies is something overwhelmingly supported by the record; that the US does so is incontrovertible.
Big picture, the official story once again doesn’t add up; we remain ignorant of the true situation in NK and will remain so until some reliable sources of information come to light.
We are not going to do anything in North Korea.
There is no threat to the US. Their missiles are not capable of anything except punching a hole in the forests of Alaska. That is not worth bringing down the wrath of Kim on Seoul.
Not so veiled warnings are not the same as telegraphing - no tactical info included.
