Like so many Muslims before him, it looks as if Mohamed Noor has opted to defend himself by blaming the victim.
According to Drugs.com, Ambien (zolpidem) is a sedative, also called a hypnotic. Zolpidem affects chemicals in the brain that may be unbalanced in people with sleep problems insomnia). Ambien is used to treat insomnia .Ambien may impair your thinking or reactions .Some people using this medicine have engaged in activity such as driving, eating, walking, making phone calls, or having sex and later having no memory of the activity.
That Noors lawyers would choose this scurrilous course of action is astounding, but not at all surprising.

How about a photo and full anal exam of this lawyer?
Because standing and talking to a police officer while on Ambien in the middle of the night is illegal...?
Why is this guy (the new recruit) wearing gloves?
Yeah, who even cares if she was on MJ.
I have solved the case.
Said cop had 3 women who claimed assault charges on him and one lawsuit against him.
She called the cops before 11 PM, I would like to know the exact time the 911 call was made.
Let say his shift started at 11.
Maybe it was him who was assaulting this girl in the alley and when the squad car got there at 11:30 PM, he thought she would recognize him, so he shot her, case closed.
Sherlock
Oh how I hope you’re right. In today’s climate I wouldn’t be surprised if he walks....it’s Minneapolis you know.
Suck lead- good one!
The worse kind Hate. Specifically the hatred of women.
“Miranda was a mistake.”
Perhaps, but since that ruling, the standards for Miranda have been diminished.
However, the 5th Amendment was not a mistake.
BFD! The only drug she seemed to have that affected her was the lead from Patrolman Muzzie’s bullet!
“I believe you have confused “adequate” with “unscrupulous”, or maybe “pernicious”?”
While many find it unappetizing, the defense in this case should and will investigate the victim.
Everything that was in her system will be revealed to the defense, as will all her medical records be made available by some manner to the defense.
I don’t see where any thing exculpatory will be found, but the information will be available.
“I know you werent addressing me, but his adequate council should convince the muzzy to plead guilty and throw himself on a pike, sorry, I mean on the mercy of the court.”
He is not going to plead guilty and I would not expect anyone accused of a such a crime to plead guilty.
Will the perp be as heavily investigated as the victim?
I rather doubt it.
I’d be willing to bet there was no timely blood draw, or even a breathalyzer.
The author of the story somehow expects Noor to make a public statement.
That is a foolish expectation.
As for if Noor will talk to the review board, the police of DA, that is up to Noor, his attorney and the Bill of Rights.
But, I suspect that Noor and his attorney understand that he has nothing at all to gain by talking.
Hes wearing gloves because he was required to shake hands with women at his special ceremony ...the chief of police and probably the mayor...is my guess...
wouldnt do to get any of those 2nd class citizen female cooties on his uppity moslem butt...
“Will the perp be as heavily investigated as the victim?”
“I rather doubt it.”,
“Id be willing to bet there was no timely blood draw, or even a breathalyzer.”
Yes, cops are afforded rights and privileges that are not made available to civilians who may find themselves involved in a shooting
However, the prosecution should use all constitutional powers available to him to investigate the crime and the accused and the defense should use all means available to them to represent their client.
“This should be a slam-dunk case for voluntary manslaughter at the very least. It is very possibly an intentional murder in a fit of rage.”
Yes, but we don’t need to discard the Bill or Rights to prosecute Noor.
You just won whatever we have left.
We have already discarded the Bill of Rights, and pretty much the rest of the Constitution as well. We pay lip service to the forms, but Government officials commonly do whatever they can get away with. "Laws are for little people".
And Noor will not be prosecuted for anything if the Muslim politicians and supporters in Minneapolis have their way. Sharia law endorses what Noor did.
By contrast, a White cop who shot an innocent Black woman under similar conditions would already have been fired and arrested. And the riots would have already started.
This is what has replaced rule-of-law today. There is no voting our way out of this.
Bad cops come from bad politicians.
“And Noor will not be prosecuted for anything if the Muslim politicians and supporters in Minneapolis have their way. Sharia law endorses what Noor did.”
My guess is that Noor will be charged and prosecuted and that case will be before a Minnesota state court and not a Sharia court.
“By contrast, a White cop who shot an innocent Black woman under similar conditions would already have been fired and arrested. And the riots would have already started.”
It’s just been a week, and the fastest I’ve recall a cop being fired after a bad shoot was Michael Slager who was fired a little less than a week after a questionable shooting.
Give it time, the firing of Noor is not relevant, the investigation and likely prosecution are relevant.
