Everyone’s worst airline is the one they’re currently flying on.

AC has jumped The Shark in so many ways.

She needs to either stop flying and take The Dog or pony up for private flights.

Delta got on my list last week when I booked two tickets Basic Economy and was told we couldn’t choose our seats in that class. We’d have to upgrade to Main Cabin for an extra $60 to choose seats together.

We have AmEx Delta cards, basically to avoid the $25 baggage fees, but we put over $33,000 on the card last year.

I wrote AmEx and told them we will no longer use our AmEx cards except for airline tickets. We may go back if Delta changes its policy.

I’ll let AmEx talk to Delta about their family-unfriendly seating scheme. Imagine a family with four kids who want to sit together. That’s an extra $180 for the privilege.

I think Delta and United are in a race for the worst airline in the world. I will never fly again. If it ain’t within driving distance, I don’t need to go anyway......;)

Unless you’re taking Singapore Airlines or Emirates, all air travel today is far worse than trips by Greyhound back in the ‘60 and ‘70s. Between the race by airlines to pack as many fat butts into as many skinny seats as possible for the cheapest possible rate, and the ever-present security threats and resulting security theater made necessary by the Muslim religion, travel by airline should always be a last resort. Rich people can take private planes, poor people should drive, take the bus, or stay where they are and the rest of us just have to deal with the squalor. Coulter too.

Who knows what happened, it doesn’t sound fair, but I don’t think she should have tweeted the woman’s picture. It’s the Delta personnel who allowed it to happen.

I really like Ann; I think she makes a great contribution to the national debate.

However (and you knew the “fancy but” — thanks, Friends! :) ) was coming...

Flying coach is never comfortable. Things happen, drinks or food get spilled, babies cry, toddlers kick your seat, people have to go to the bathroom and you have to twist yourself into contortions to let them out, etc.

It is the price we pay for having low-cost air travel.

It’s really not that bad. We don’t generally die on a cross-country trip, or have to search for water, or look for hostiles wanting to kill us, etc. We should really count our blessings. :)

Looks like the airline might have moved Ann so that a family could be seated together.

I guess Ann does not appreciate family values.

A few years ago, my wife and I were flying to SC form Taiwan via San Francisco and Atlanta. We arrived in San Francisco 5 hours before the flight. Checked in downstairs and got our boarding passes. When it came time to board, they said our tickets were invalid. They checked on it and said because of weather, they rerouted us through JFK in NY instead of Atlanta and that flight left 20 minutes ago. We were sitting at the gate the whole time. The gate for the JFK flight was right across from our gate. Not once did they make an announcement at that gate for “passengers so and so to check-in, this is the last call”. We were able to squeeze onto the original flight. They put us in the seats up front with no leg room. When we boarded, there was no room in the overheads for my carry-on. I ended up putting in on the floor in front of me and spent the whole flight with my knees almost up to my chin. Meanwhile, I look across the aisle and the bulkhead seats - with plenty of leg room - are occupied by employees flying back to Atlanta. So much for the paying customer.

I thought Ann flew around in her own jet. No wait, that’s Rush. Also, surprisingly I didnt see any anti Trump tweets among her flurry of tweets.

I know that some airlines have “Economy Plus” seats (or some similar title) which have an inch or two more leg room for a slightly higher price. If (and I say “if”) this is what was the case, then not only does Ann have a legitimate complaint, but perhaps a legal one, too.

However, regardless, how stupid is it for an airline to pick on a nationally known editorial writer and author? What’s next? (”I know that you had the seat with more legroom, President Carter, and I know that you have been sick, but we are going to put you back in one of the more cramped seats. No, you don’t have any choice.”)

Flew Southwest for the 1st time last week. Their no baggage fee on 2 bags saved our group $600. They allowed each person a 3rd free bag since we were on a humanitarian mission trip, another $750.

Southwest from here on out.

I didn’t know until now — with that picture of the family — how much lack of class Ann has. The trouble is that she’s totally unaware of it.

Ann is an older woman and very tall. She travels a lot. Doesn’t that make her at a greater risk of developing a blood clot?

I don’t travel a lot. I tend to be very accommodating of people. It is my nature. But my mother was not an accommodating person. I could hear her now if she had paid for a seat with more leg room and was then asked to move for a young person. Throw in some family color, and look out. They would have had to bring in security.

Why did Delta make the 55 year old woman move? That is bad form even if the woman is Ann Coulter.
