Shareholders in a zoo near Shanghai, frustrated that they weren't making a profit on their investment, fed a live donkey to zoo tigers as a form of protest.
Video of the scene shows the donkey pushed down a makeshift ramp into the water surrounding the tiger habitat, where it is promptly pounced upon. Tigers bite and claw the donkey as it bleeds and struggles in the water. The footage has prompted protest and outrage in China.
In a statement, shareholders who invested in Yancheng Safari Park say they held a meeting and voted in favor of feeding the live donkey to the tigers to express their frustration.
There’s no such thing as bad publicity unless they decide to feed a live child to the tigers.
The Chinese torture Dogs to death because they think the fear makes the Meat taste better. I’m sure the same rule applies to other Animals they Butcher.
Nothing surprises me about this.

I would rather feed the shareholders to the tigers. That would be justifiable payback for their cruel actions.

There is a 9 trillion dollar time bomb in China called Wealth Management Products.
WMPs are “guaranteed” by the associated banks, which are often gov’t owned.
What they invest in is mostly unknown. But bond yields in China are too low to cover the “guaranteed” interest rates.
When these investors find out that they have been “investing” with the chinese equivalents of Bernie Madoff, and the losses are too big for the gov’t to cover - the bankers and chinese communist party officials that don’t flee the country will end up like that donkey.

I thought this was going to be a story about Chinese feeding a donkey to tigers in protest for the DNC loosing the election and wiping out all that “donation” money they’ve been handing over for years to HRC.
To feed a famished underfed tiger with the lest expensive, least exotic meat they could afford, probably.
Though they could at least have had the decency to kill the donkey first to minimize its suffering.

No, you are not the only one. I burst into tears upon reading this horrible story. There was NO REASON to throw a terrified innocent donkey into a tiger cage. What did that prove? That the shareholders are not even remotely human and that they have no souls? If they HAD to feed the donkey to the tigers, at least they could have shot it dead first. My only hope is that the shareholders get the same treatment and get thrown bound hand and foot into the tigers' cage.
They couldn’t find a scapegoat, so they settled for a donkey.
