Memorial Day weekend would seem like the best time for a big summer blockbuster to hit the theaters, but in recent years audiences have been focusing more on their tans and grillmaster skills over the holiday than going to a movie theater.
Past Memorial Day holiday weekend openings that were instant fails at the box office include: "Tomorrowland" ($33 million opening weekend), "Alice Through the Looking Glass" ($26.8 million), and "X-Men: Apocalypse" ($65.7 million). Now you can add two new releases from this year to that list.

Ive got a feeling that with the rapid improvement in technology, the era of the highly paid actor is ending. CG animations are ever improving as computing power increases. The next thing will be reviving long dead actors in new roles.
Have you seen the newest voice manufacturing application from Adobe? Watch this to get a look at the way around prima donna actors. Couple this with animations, and the need to go on location diminishes. The next big Hollywood star may be a computer nerd in some studio in the middle of anywhere.

The Godfather had no homos, so homowood homofornia and its millenial audiences need to politically correct this glaring mistake.

Yeah, qu’ll supreese ... glad to see it. Google had a real small tiny American flag and yellow ribbon. You’d have to look for it.

Good thing I keep a magnifying glass next to my monitor, or I would have never seen it.

Thanks for that link. Amazing technology, but now we can't trust audio recordings to be real, just as we can't trust digitized photos to be real.
The technology will certainly be used in film production, and soon. One easy application: It will now be possible to change spoken dialog without reshooting a scene. That should be a real money saver.
