The FOX News host is refusing to stop his investigation into the grisly murder of Seth Rich.
Sean Hannity, FOX News host went out on a limb Tuesday in defense of his coverage, calling his critics "phony hypocrites." Hannity wants to know who killed Seth Rich, even if the mainstream media and his own colleagues want him to stop.
The murder of Seth Rich, a young Democratic National Committee staffer, has inspired a lot of speculation in the right-wing media and on FOX, the gist of which is that he was murdered by Democratic operatives as revenge for being a whistleblower who delivered the notorious DNC emails to WikiLeaks. If Rich were the leaker, the thinking goes, there wouldn't have been any Russian hacking, therefore the entire investigation into the Trump campaign's Russian connections would be nonsense.
But the theory is bigger than any one figureit's so huge it has its very own subreddit.
Hannity spent much of Tuesday tweeting about Rich. His big "source" is Kim Dotcom, a New Zealand webpreneur. Dotcom has been claiming for days that he knew Rich, and that he has information that proves Rich had delivered a collection of DNC emails to WikiLeaks. On Tuesday, what was revealed was a blog post at Dotcom's website, Kim.com, about a person in 2014 who went by "Panda" chatting with Dotcom about "corruption and the influence of corporate money in politics." Dotcom claims that Panda was Rich and hinted vaguely about more to be revealed in the future. On Tuesday night, Hannity is scheduled to interview Dotcom on his show.
Throughout Tuesday afternoon, Hannity carried on talking about the Seth Rich case on his radio show. Times.
"I am not FOX.com or FOXNews.com. I retract nothing," he told listeners.

The libs are forcing sponsors to cave. Get your facts straight people. You don’t even understand what’s going on. Media Matters has declared war on him....just like O’reilly. How can people be so dense???
We’ll find out who really killed Seth Rich about the time we find out who killed the intern in Joe Scarborough’s office or who killed Chandra Levy.
Or Lieutenant Quarles Harris.
And what about the Democratic party rigging their primary?
THAT is about democracy, whichever party you belong to.
Will there be any investigation into that?
Even if “Russia” did hack the DNC - and I certainly don’t think that’s more than a smokescreen - they exposed the Democratic party tampering with the election.
Sounds like the DNC/Benghazi Clinton campaign funds have enough money left over to spread around for bribes and payoffs ... and Ark-icide muscle for those who refuse.
Hannity is annoying as hell on his BEST day. Once in a while his rants are entertaining, but for the most part? Meh.
I hate getting stuck in the car between 2-3pm when he’s on out here in Flyover Country...AFTER Rush.
Hannity has a long term contract and needs a show on Fox like he needs a hole in his head. He makes $20 million a year on his radio show alone and about $9 million to $10 million on his TV show. He is worth at least $80 million and could be worth twice that.
Or, Vince Foster.
Hannity is the only show that is sustaining his numbers. Still, the forces that want him gone are putting pressure on sponsors. He won’t have a show if the bulk of sponsors drop.
This is modern day racism. A new Fox must be birthed.
Well, in fairness to Sean, he was without a story when KimDotCom cut the legs from under him.
I now seriously doubt if KDC has anything. Meanwhile Hannity pegged it all on a story without a witness.

Hannity is giving the Dems a little bit of their own medicine. He may be wrong and only be gaslighting in this situation but it is effective because nobody can prove what really happened to Seth Rich. That is why they hate Trump, too. Anybody who fights their fire with fire is targeted for personal destruction. Sad to see Hannity back down already.
Yeah, but radio ain’t TV. And we saw with Glenn Beck how fast a BIG fortune can disappear if you invest unwisely.

Blue chip corporations are clearly blacklisting conservative media. They have no problem advertising on Stephen C(igarholder)olbert’s TV show of course. Pure fascism on display, IMO.
Larry...Did DotCom back out??? I hadn’t heard that....
Hannity is as tight as a drum. He probably has his first communion money. He is not one to make stupid, risky investments like trying to start a new network with a crazy person as its’ main star.
Diana, may I suggest Steve Dahl and company out of WLS Chicago after Rush? No politics, just the day’s bizarre news stories, talked about hilariously. And visits from restauranteurs with food. Note: I am not employed by Steve Dahl and company. :)
There is no doubt that the Global Elites have sizable, well-trained, well-armed, well-paid thugs to do their bidding.
This is doubtless what happens to journalists who get too close, or politicians who stray too far from The Agenda.
Anyone still not be believe in the deep state?
“Meanwhile Hannity pegged it all on a story without a witness.”
In other words, he followed the lead of the entire MSM.
Yup my fear was (and I posted this yesterday) that Kim.com was a leftist plant suckering Hannity in. Notice that once Kim put out his nothing burger story today, the heart tugging editorial came from the parents. Hannity was snookered and then cornered.
This Seth Rich story is essentially dead, like Vince Foster it will only live in the fringes.
Hannity just said: “hopefully, we will see you here tomorrow night”. His job was on the line tonight.
