REddit is a forum where you can post anything. (Except conservative things, apparently.)

It is comprised of 1000s of communities specific to a topic, i.e. subreddits, or subs

the communities range from /r/news, to /r/babyelephantGIFs, to /r/berniebros, to /r/philadelphia to /r/sports to /r/asstastic (take a guess what that is) to more dangerous communities like child molesters and ISIS supporters.

the owners/operators of this website routinely punish the pro Trump sub /r/The_Donald, while letting the other communities, even the disgusting ones., roam free.

they also allow for other subs to "doxx" and harass them. they have the advantage in numbers and they are on payrolls, too. Many are from Europe.

It is a forum, kind of like FR, dedicated to Donald Trump's campaign. Only The_Donald and Conservative Treehouse were on the Trump train since the beginning of his candidacy. Its importance to his campaign was huge.

I will guess they are trying to make a traffic impact since T_D gets a lot of page views. But self censorship is also self defeating. The first mod that got banned was IMHO being rather stupid in calling for people to leave Reddit en masse. What’s the point in being in an echo chamber?
And this headline is totally wrong since T_D are the ones closed themselves off. People like me who are members but don’t post now cannot enjoy the sub. Dumb.
