Ann Coulter Is Worried The ‘Trump-Haters Were Right’
Daily Caller ^ | 5-14-2017 | Alex Pfeiffer

Uhhhh. I’m not very happy with what has happened so far. I guess we have to try to push him to keep his promises. But this isn’t North Korea, and if he doesn’t keep his promises I’m out. This is why we voted for him. I think everyone who voted for him knew his personality was grotesque, it was the issues.

I hate to say it, but I agree with every line in my friend Frank Bruni’s op-ed in The New York Times today. Where is the great negotiation? Where is the bull in the china shop we wanted? That budget the Republicans pushed through was like a practical joke… Did we win anything? And this is the great negotiator?

He’s dealing with an entire corrupt government from the House to the Senate to the IRS to the NSA to the CIA and then he has to deal with foreign leaders and crisis! Thank god we have a Man in the WH with what it seems is unlimited energy, Balls and Brains:-)

What shocks me is people on this thread agreeing with her. He’s done more in 4 months than most presidents do in four years.

I'm with you. I'm what I would call a movement conservative. I've felt for decades that the America I love was slipping away. The las election was for me our last chance to change course, and the only way to do that was to elect Donald Trump. He was the ONLY change agent, the only disrupter running. Period.

I knew going in that he wasn't really a conservative, although I think he's proven to be more of a conservative than I thought. I knew there would be things he would want to do that I would be opposed to...but that's a far cry from being opposed to the man. Donald Trump is a patriot. He loves this country just as much as I do and I trust him to do what he promised. But given that he has to deal with the political realities in Washington (insanity really) he's going to be limited in what he actually gets accomplished. Supporters bailing on him four months in at the first sign of weakness is disgusting. This is why Republicans lose. This is why no President since Ronald Reagan has accomplished anything to change the direction of this country. This is why I throw away every appeal for money I get from ANY Republcian.

Last night I watched our local news, usually don’t, and the woman said that polls are showing that people want a special prosecutor and that Comey was fired just after asking for more money to investigate.

They’ve lied and lied and people are believing it and now they’ll say the polls are for a prosecutor. This will lead to the rats getting a lot more seats in the next election so they will actually have the power to stop Trump and then maybe actually impeach him.

I can’t believe how bad it is when the media repeats lies and people belive it. See my tag line.

John Boehner (remember?) was useful. I’m still using the backs of his envelopes for grocery and to-do lists.

Giving money to the Republicans- you might as well just write the check directly to Soros. Save a step.

‘We have the Senate, the House and the Presidency’

No, all “we” have is the presidency. The anti-Trump Uniparty-Establishment has the House and the Senate.

I saw an interesting article on Mccarthy’s recent Spicer gig on SNL

The gist of the SNL pieces was that Trump is lying to Spicer . True or not ..does it really matter because American Public see it and it plants the seed.

Comey firing was mishandled. Who was at fault? probably a lot of people but I don’t think Trump gave a clear message for them to promote. He changed the story. The last thing he should have done was get on national TV and claim Comey was fired because of the Russian investigation. It plants another seed in the minds of the public.

He needs better advisors that Kushner and Ivanka who doen’t have a clue as to handle the DC swamp

Hard not to feel disappointed. That budget deal was an offensive joke on all Trump supporters. The dems got everything and we got a sentence preventing the use of funds to build a wall. I never thought we’d see and funding of every item on the liberal wish list, but there you have it. The least Trump could’ve done wAs threaten to veto it if they didn’t remove that sentence prohibiting him from using funds to build the wall, but he didn’t so don’t tell me its all the fault of the Rinos. Very disappointing. I hope to see some real spine for the upcoming 2018 budget, but I’m nit optimistic. The swamp seems to be winning.

If Ann Coulter is really down on Trump then she's a 'effing jackass -- and I don't say that lightly.

She was one of the earliest, strongest supporters of the guy -- and a lot of us got behind him even though we knew damn well that he was a political neophyte and was absolutely ill-equipped to deal with the internal mechanisms of government. So of all the people in the world who should have a lot of patience with President Trump, I would think Ann Coulter should be at the very top of the list.
