Smart that they’re building them into regular glasses, that was the big mistake of google. Bad that they’re planning to install nagware.

I gotta admit, this patent strikes me as a particularly bad idea. But to think that people will PAY to wear them — that’s truly frightening.

But vastly more likely it will be used to sell advertising constantly blocking you view. You looked at a Wendy's burger so suddenly McDonald's, Burger King, Hardees and every other burger restarant pops up ads for you.
And am I the only one tired of having to figure out more and more privacy settings on every new Windows update to tell Microsoft to piss off? Every default was set to the wrong value. Now I just need to remember how I turned off automatic reboots on updates like I had on my last computer.

The next feature to be added is to tell you when to take a dump. Soon, people can have their brains removed because they will live only for their iPhones and Microsoft glasses. Assuming that Facebook and Twitter remains the main staples of human interaction.

Personally, I didn’t choose a nagging wife, and I would not choose these glasses. However, I imagine that even at Microsoft prices the glasses will be much cheaper than the wife - many people will go straight to the glasses to save money. I pity them, but I won’t stop them from turning their lives over to Michelle Obama’s voice.

Tyrannyware, presented first as the gimmicky “Alexa, turn on the living room light” (Ooooo! Cute trick!). Next: “You already have one light on - are you sure you want to do that?” Now your food, then your heat, then your water. Welcome to the giant human kennel, run by self-appointed masters.
