I am seriously wondering why nobody has mentioned the Zagruder(?) video or mentioned the pristine bullet, conjured up by Arlen Specter. In opinion the video clearly shows Kennedy’s head snapping backward with the killing shot. Also if you have to rely on something as impossible as the pristine bullet to prove Oswald did it, I have some swampland....

It was a dodgy rifle. The FBI sharpshooters who tested the rifle and scope had to put three metal shim under the scope before it was accurate enough for the FBI sharp shooter to attempt any recreation of the what Oswald was accused of.

But The Warren Commission wants us to believe that a mediocre shot like Oswald used this faulty weapon and scope to squeeze off three shots in less than six seconds with two of them hitting a moving target in the back and the head and the man sitting in front of him.

Officer Tippit lived at the end of our street. Oswald lived around the corner from our family doctor.

That show and Truth or Consequences were some of my first memories. Grandma would sit me in my highchair with my second breakfast (I’d have an earlier breakfast with Grandpa) in front of the tv while she got her chores done.

To get that angle, Oswald would have had to be a monkey hanging by his tail off the ledge of the window.

BTW, the window shown by most of the internet sites is the wrong one because the museum has the correct window blocked off. I never put much into Oswald was a patsy theory until standing in the real window many years before it was blocked off. No way. He’d have had a better shot as the car was traveling down Houston St.

Maybe you should check out LBJ’s mistress. She reveals a lot about the killing from her pillow talks with LBJ through her years with him !!!

It is a small world my FRiend.

Wished I could tell you the number of times in my life that those type of connections were apparent.

Some of them, I have a hard time getting people to believe me about. Has happened here. It really hurts to be called a liar when what you describe is 100% accurate.

My family knew LBJ’s pilot so that’s how I met him at his ranch. Also, my old family home (4 generations and where we now live) is live near his and Connally’s lake places. Their places were right across from each other. He’d take his boat out and stop to visit people sitting outside. One time he brought a knife to the neighbor boy and used the potty next door. When there’s been new owners, I’ve told them about the potty but they’ve never believed it.

It’s the Johnson’s and Connally’s lifelong friendship that will never get me to believe LBJ had anything to do with the assassination. Gov. and Mrs. Connally were both in the car so both could have been killed, too. No way would Mrs. Connally ever have let a murder eat at her table or be around her kids.

To be honest I was picturing Arlene Francis when I posted
Kitty Carlisle. I do remember now that Kitty did some
movies. Steve Allen was the only one who didn’t give me
the creeps. I thought most of them were stuffed shirts
who probably had no traction outside of the Northeast.

I agree with that as well, I don’t think LBJ was behind it.

But then, it is written that Lyndon Johnson had quite a checkered past.

That Mac Wallace, even if he had nothing to do with the JFK assassination was Johnson’s man for doing dirty deeds.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malcolm_Wallace

The thing about the conspiracies is that there are so many, they can’t all be right.

Mafia, CIA, Cubans, a hybrid of these 3? Soviets, Castro and on and on.

And once you get into this, then it’s hard to know where to stop.

Oswald achieved sharpshooter on one test, marksman on another later on in the Marine Corps.

http://www.22november1963.org.uk/lee-harvey-oswald-marksman-sharpshooter

This thread is persuasive towards conspiracy, I’m always open minded but... I think Oswald practiced dry-firing his rifle a lot; and not only that, they pretty well know his steps and what he did in the months prior to the assassination. It’s hard to find him consorting with shady figures during this time, in New Orleans or in the Metroplex area (Dallas). He had traits that show he was probably unstable.

Thus in brief, I lean towards him being the only gunman.

Heck of coincidences though, going to work in that building and so on.

They definitely for the most part, looked like “High Society” but if memory serves me correct, they dressed for it, tuxedos or close to it and fine evening dresses, very formal. But that was part of their angle.

I understand. Yesterday my father and I paid respects to Ray Perry’s family (Rick Perry’s father) at the local funeral home. When they were children, my uncle dated the widow, before she met Ray Perry.

I have never met Rick but grew up 14 miles from the family. They moved to this county in 1885. My family settle here is 1889.

I have been a Republican all my life. Not acceptable when I was young. But the 1960’s changed all that. I’m a little older than Rick, so we never met.

We had a family friend who was assistant to the TX AG for several administrations, his father was the local family doctor. He delivered my dad and my uncle. The doctor had 3 sons. All became attorneys.

1 was a District Judge, another had a Title Company in Crowell, another was an Asst to TX AG.

J.C. Davis would always stop at my grandfather’s home when he was in town and have a shot of whiskey. (my grandfather had to quit, diabetes) As a young man I heard all the crap that LBJ was into in Austin. In those days all in Texas were Democrats.

A friend of my uncle, another old bachelor, was a book keeper for George Parr. (Duke of Duval) Another LBJ operative.

So, this all makes a lot of sense to me.

At the gathering yesterday, my father and I saw a few people we knew. Old friends, Ray’s widow, Ray’s 2 brothers. Most of them were inside, the outside lawn was full of people who I did not know with a few of the locals. It was clear that those outside were friends of Rick. Neither my father (91) or I enjoy crowds so we only stayed about 20 minutes and slipped out through the crowd.

Ray’s widow (Rick’s mom) is a very nice lady. It had been a number of years since I had seen her, we were in a doctor’s office in Abilene at that time. She sent flowers when my mother died.

This is how life is in Rural America. Especially rural Texas.

So the real conspiracy here is the peculiar relationship between JFK and Gov. Connally? I had no idea the governor had such a close companionship with Kennedy that he rode in the car on the man’s lap. And this was WAY before Obama and Reggie...

What a silly, nonsensical thing to say. That picture is exactly as they sat in the car.
