Nicolas Dupont-Aignan of the Gaullist Debout la France party appeared on France 2 television last night to announce an agreement of support of Marine Le Pen in the second round of France's presidential election a week from tomorrow.
Dupont-Aignan picked up 4.7 percent of the popular vote in the first round of the presidential election.
He joined Le Pen at an appearance in Paris a few hours ago.
Le Pen said she would nominate Dupont-Aignan as Prime Minister if she is elected president.
BFM TV was hyping the two (Le Pen and Dupont-Aignan) as "Le Ticket".
Nigel Farage has describes Nicolas Dupont-Aignan as a "mild Euroskeptic".
Marine Le Pen upstaged her opponent Emmanuel Macron earlier the week when she joined workers on a picked line in Macron's home town of Amiens.
Le Pen posed for selfies while Macron was in a meeting room with bigwigs nearby. She forced Macron to come out and meet the workers where he was subjected to boos from the audience.
Sebstien Chenu, a National Front councilor in northern France, told media outlet RTL: "I think they have France at heart, and not, like other candidates, money at heart."
Macron the Corporatist Banker represents Globalism while Marine Le Pen's slogan is "Choose France" (Choisir La France).
Marine Le Pen denounced any notions of Holocaust denial, by the way. Her father was booted from the National Front in 2015 for repeating Holocaust denial comments he had made in the past.
