With the Congress requiring the ability to “pay for” a tax cut, I believe Ryancare’s $1.5 trillion “surplus” over 10 years was going to be front-loaded to “cover” the deep tax cuts Trump wanted. When the economy would then grow like crazy, jobs would provide insurance for many more people, making Ryancare less important and easier to modify, along with less expensive (because people would have employer insurance).
Bannon saw a huge, quick opportunity to move the Trump agenda forward, despite RINOs in Congress, if only something could be passed that could have huge, front-loadable “savings.”
He's been crippled ever since.

Spicer makes an obvious mention of battlefield tactics—an accurate one, at that, and is attacked.

By the way, how much coverage have you seen on Susan Rice LYING IN JANUARY about the supposed elimination of chemical weapons in Syria? Bueller? Bueller? But Spicer’s mention of historical use of weapons in battle is given wall to wall smotherage as if it is the crime of the century.

Bannon is effectively neutered now. Notice the supposed edict about no negative stories about jared.that came out after the supposed meeting with preibus

By “straighten out” I hope Trump means reassigning Kushner to clean out ash trays and pick up litter, or better yet move back to NYC. If instead he means cut Bannon loose, we all lose.

Two stayements, same book, put together out of context. Trump could say Kellyanne wasn’t brought in til later, either.

Here is the whole quote. It does not sound good for Bannon.
“I like Steve, but you have to remember he was not involved in my campaign until very late,” Trump said. “I had already beaten all the senators and all the governors, and I didn’t know Steve. I’m my own strategist and it wasn’t like I was going to change strategies because I was facing crooked Hillary.”
He ended by saying, “Steve is a good guy, but I told them to straighten it out or I will.”
