Just months after giving birth to her first child at age 50, Janet Jackson has split with billionaire husband Wissam Al Mana.
According to the New York Post while one source said the split is amicable and the couple will co-parent their son, others said trouble had been brewing for months.
“She thought he had become too controlling during the pregnancy and she had already allowed him to dictate her appearance and even the way she performed at concerts,” the source who works closely with the couple said.
Other demands that the “Rhythm Nation” singer gave in to included toning down her 2014 concert tour — wearing clothing that covered her body, instead of the skin-revealing outfits fans had grown to love.
She also declined to do music videos that featured any bumping and grinding, trademarks of her work, the source said.
“It drove her crazy and she felt she was losing her fan base.”

Stayed with him just long enough to produce a kid and collect child support by the boatload. Hope he had a pre-nup, or Ms. Jackson’s payday will be even larger.
If her spending habits are anything like her late brother’s, she was probably in need of a major cash infusion, hence the marriage to a wealthy Muslim. The child, sad to say, guarantees payments for at least the next 18 years, above and beyond what might be specified in a pre-nup.
Egggggs-actly! Why do American women marry isane freaks like that?? You get what you deserve if you marry somebody like him. Hope she can avoid being splashed with acid or beheaded by her "beloved."

I wouldn’t say that. Not when she was actually big in the ‘80s, anyway. She was quite “modest” back then. Later in the ‘90s she started getting looser - and didn’t help her career, really.
You know, as a 50 something white guy I realize I’m probably not in her target demographic. However, I liked her music, several songs of hers are in my play lists. I’m not a big enough fan to have kept up with her. (Obviously) Well, they say an education is expensive no matter how you get it. Guess she is learning that too. I wish her well and hope to hear some new music from her when she’s back in it.
I honestly don’t think she carried that baby. I think she was seen out once with a big belly.
She is old to have a baby although it does happen.
She cancelled her tour with the excuse of a baby. I don’t think it was selling well but I don’t remember.
We will see if allegations come out about the pregnancy.
