Democratic Rep. Henry Cuellar says that 30 countries are refusing to take deported criminal illegal aliens back and he wants the US government to force their cooperation.
A law is already on the books, Cuellar noted in an interview with Sheryl Attkisson, that the US could stop issuing visas to citzens of those countries until they changed their policy.
“We’re not enforcing it, which is amazing. So now my intent is to go back to our committee on appropriations and affect their funding until they do that,” Cuellar told Sharyl Attkisson, host of Full Measure, in an interview.
Cuellar, a Democratic member of the House Committee on Appropriations, told Attkisson that the Supreme Court has ruled that illegal immigrants arrested for criminal activity can only be held for a certain period of time before they must be released.
“That means you’re releasing criminals into our streets because those countries refuse to take back those criminal aliens,” said Cuellar. “That’s wrong. And especially I think it’s even worse that this is already on the books, and we’re still issuing business tourist visas and student visas to countries that refuse to take back their criminal aliens. That’s wrong, and we’re hoping to change that.”
Cuellar has not been afraid to break with some of his party leadership on immigration issues in the past. He was known as one of former President Barack Obama’s fiercest critics on illegal immigration. Cuellar teamed up with Texas Republican Sen. John Cornyn in 2014 to help pass a bill that would speed up the deportation of unaccompanied minors. His stance disappointed his fellow Democrats, including Sen. Harry Reid.

Gitmo
That’s where they need to be. If the complain let them escape and let Cuba deal with them
Just leave them at the country’s port of entry, they can care for them in the airports and harbors, and advise travelers that rapists, drug dealers and alcoholics are at the customs points of entry for both cruise ships and airports, and they’d be best served not visiting those countries.
Then again, I’m great with simply ending any and all visas from those countries. You won’t accept your citizens back, we won’t risk any further of your citizens visiting. So do it both ways.
How about stuffing their embassies with them? It’ll get
uncomfortable real quick in those embassies. Lock the gates from the outside.
I am a little unclear on something here. Are these convicted criminals who have served their sentences and then are released “back to the streets” because it is difficult to deport them?
Other than China, how many of these countries could actually physically prevent us from transporting these criminals back home?
Then fork them.
Their high-ranking officials and critical infrastructure should start having some ‘accidents’. Watch how fast their attitude changes.
No. Mexico will allow up to a 90 day visa for those with travel visa to the US for their transit.
US was deporting a number which were being rejected after they arrived. Mexico was taking the position that US could deport them, but not through Mexico. The issue was the Obama Administration inviting so many over without screening. Now they are being screened and rejected.
DHS was tooled up to ship these people all over the US.
If they were so tooled up, just change their destination back to country of origin.
Parachutes. And I’m being generous to give them parachutes.
Or, put them on a ship, just offshore, then dump ‘em out. Sink or swim.
Aren’t embassies and consulates of foreign nations considered those nations territory?
End visas, H1B, L1 visas, and haltnormal business with them if they don’t take them back. Start with India.
Read last week that India is on the list.
Why do you refer to illegal aliens as “undocumented immigrants?”
We don’t have to give them a choice.
Heck yeah give them a quick lesson in HANO....
Proud of Cuellar. Standing up for the Mexican side of the Democratic aisle. Bravo. Cut off their cash and make the countries squeal like lil biotches.
Oh wait, so even these countries are saying they are a danger but liberals are up in arms, protesting, whining, screeching that we must keep them.
Swim noodles are $1 each.
I'll pay for 'em. ;)
That's retail price. Pretty sure we could get whole sale price down to $0.10 or less per unit if we would accept seconds or blems. Or bio-degradable foam, salt and sun...poof.
Obama has been releasing 30 -40 thousand illegal alien rapists, murderers, child molesters, drunk driver,s and thieves from US prisons into the US population every year because their home countries refuse to take them back.
This is a story that is covered up by the ENEMEDIA and it needs to stop TODAY.
