McDonald's has a traffic problem and its executives know it. Now they have a plan they think will turn it around.
The company lost more than 500 million customers to close competitors since 2012, Chris Kempczinski, McDonald's USA President told investors gathered in Chicago Wednesday.

No kidding. Not a huge fan of Chick-Fil-A’s food, but I’ve always been impressed by their customer service. I’m guessing the young people at Chick-Fil-A don’t make any more than their counterparts at Mickey D’s but they’re light years ahead in terms of courtesy, attention to detail, and efforts to please their customers. Obviously, the company does a very good job in screening their employees, training them and getting them to buy in to the company’s values.
Read somewhere that Chick-Fil-A generates more sales per outlet than any other fast food chain. They outsell KFC with less than half the number of outlets in the U.S. and of course, Chick-Fil-A restaurants are only open six days a week. Good product, delivered by a friendly staff in a clean, welcoming environment. What McDonald’s was—about 40 years ago.
That's your loss.

A couple of months ago I was at CFA eating in my car in the parking lot. It was around noon and pouring rain out. The drive-thru was packed. THe CFA employees were escorting customers to and from their cars into the restaurant holding umbrellas for them. Very impressive customer service!!
You’re right. The fries are manufactured, not real. The hamburgers have very little meat and their white gook that they put on their burgers make me puke. CHICKENS COME FROM CHINA.
EAT SONIC!!!!!!!
ALL REAL FOOD.
Wawa’s deli system works very well. Their paninis are pretty good, too, especially the turkey, bacon and swiss.
The nuggets are mainly made of lips, peckers and a$$holes.
500 million people voted with their feet? That sucks. I tried their fries recently, and they tasted sour and burnt.
1. People don't visit your restaurants because they forgot to make a reservation at Ruth's Chris, or because they are craving an arugula and goat cheese salad. They come to you because they want to feed the screaming rug rats in the back seat, and get a little change back from a twenty.
2. Your company made Ray Kroc and a lot of franchisees quite wealthy with a menu whose items could be counted on the fingers of two hands.
Sincerely, and knowing that you'll throw this memo in the electronic trash,
Eric
That’s it exactly. Go back to the basics. They won’t do that though. They’ll be like democrats and jump the shark.
Agita = heartburn, nausea and a general g.i. unease that results in belching. McDonald’s “beef” seems to trigger it in me like nothing else I eat.
Copy the menu and execution from Whattaburger.
Im luvin’ It !!
I’ll go back when they stop pushing cnn down our throats!
You'll shoot yer eye out, kid.
And mind your supply of spares!

EOWWWWW!
Democrats!
What you said!
Same here!
The 'nice' Chick Fil'A people always ask for a name: I don't always want to give my name! Can't they just use the number on the receipt instead?
I was in a mall yesterday. I passed by the Food Court and all the restaurants were quiet with no customers except for one . . . a Chick-Fil-A, and the line was doubled.
I thought it would be nice to try the place out but I didn’t want to wait through that line.
We have one close by but it is on a college . . . and forget even finding a parking place where you have to walk a half a mile to get to the campus.
