A member of my family has Oscars on... That's why I am watching some parts of the show...If I had my way, I would watch something else...
Mel Gibson's film won sounds effects award...
He did notice it. Faye didn’t notice it and she announced the non winner.
Ironically I thought the most interesting bit was the quick behind scenes of the special effects. Don’t go to movies or watch much on TV except cable series, news, docu’s. None of the acting clips showed much of anything special. Denzel’s struck me as best but then he seems to always play similar character so...can’t judge just by the little they show, I haven’t seen Affleck or Garfield in anything. Gosling in the Notebook annoyed me.
The entire event was one big buckle under after #oscarssowhite scared the shit out of them last year
If they didn’t give them a bunch of Oscars the tantrums would’ve continued, and possible BLM riots.
I jut hit rewind and went back. Yep, even though it is rumored Warren had Alzheimer’s, there is no fault on the man.
He saw it was weird (Emma Stone, La La Land is not the appropriate winner for best picture and he knew that). He never announced it.
And I rewound to see if I could see who gave him the envelope, but he walked out from backstage with it. Someone gave him the envelope before he ever came out onstage.
That is an epic screw up.
How could there be mkre than one envelope at the end of the night, dedicated to Best Picture?
That would be like having extra Oscar statues.
There can only be one envelope and one Oscar for each winner.
Moonlight would be the last and only envelope to open.
Damned Russians!!!!
No, I just noticed none of the nominees on the floor were behaving ‘normally’ and a $#i+ton of virtue-signalling going on the whole night. Then Viola’s ‘Emmy-winning’ acceptance speech. This was a political fix.

He kept looking around like he knew something was wrong but instead, gave it to Faye to read
He clearly didn’t know what to do.
If they show the actual footage, I think you would see Warren looking puzzled as to why the envelope was already opened? I think he was trying to process that something was wrong, and Faye made some remark to Warren and reached for the envelope herself....
Same here... a real shame at only age 61. I believe Bill was from Texas.
He knew not to read “La La Land”
Faye skipped over the name Emma Stone.
Any Oscar a nonwhite person wins will be cheapened by last year’s outcry. It may have already begun.
“When We Rise”, “American Crime”... what the HELL, ABC??
And what I saw of this gay movie “Moonlight” tonight: I will *never* watch it. Never.
I don’t think it was on purpose. I can’t believe Hollywood would, on purpose, take the spotlight away from a black film in such a screwed up way.
Start watching lots of Michael Moore movies! :-D
Too vain to wear reading glasses? (hat tip to Carly Simon)

Just watch it again. Warren Beatty did nothing wrong. He wouldn’t read what his card said because it was NOT the correct card for a Best Picture. Why would they have “Emma Stone” on a best picture card?
Faye Dunaway was getting embarrassed by him (and maybe due to his Alzheimer’s) so she just blurted out LaLaLand. It wasn’t either of their faults.
Some a hole gave them the wrong card backstage.
