BROOKSVILLE (FOX 13) - Brooksville police arrested a man they say was swinging swords at customers in Walmart on Broad Street.
The responding officers were called by the store's manager, who said someone was threatening customers in the parking lot. When they got there, they found Shannon Schenck carrying two swords and appearing to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, the police department said.

Walmart’:s So much fun nowadays. /s
He would hae quickly found that an unsheathed sword
is not mightier than a .45.
“Your arm’s off!”
“No it isn’t!”
Gamecock, thanks for posting the video suggested by tet68’s post :)
Yes. I did put, “SWORDLIST,” in the Keywords.
Didn’t think it’d be proper to put up, “BANGLIST,” considering there was no........
.............bang?
Strong resemblance to a very inebriated Nick Nolte ?
Was he saying, “There can be only one!”, or “I’ll have your head McCleod!”?
Has walmart encouraged freaks or created then or enabled them? Gotta be one of the three. I just got back from our nearest one and my previous good mood and sense of well-being is spoiled. Our nearby town does that to me but walmart just puts the icing on the cake. Any pretense of pride has died. I found myself looking for people that looked normal, well kept, clean and neat. There were only a couple in the whole store. Both Pentecostal or Holiness types. The patrons and the workers were mostly dirty and dischelved.
Good grief!
Walmart offers many excellent things ... lots of stuff, usually pretty good prices too.
It is a shame that WM has turned into a Freak Show.
I am CERTAIN WM does not invite or import the nutzoids, as they seriously are cutting down on patronage and thus... revenues!
The law is such nowadays that it is difficult for merchants to shoo beggars, bums, nuts, streakers, and psychos away.
ALSO in some communities the politics are also against fixing the problem. AND there’s always the press ... which can raise Cain if a big store, say, does shoo away anybody “of colour” or any other “preferred group” such as IslamoNazi or you name it
RESULT: The world’s largest store ...with many attractive items of merchandise (in amongst all the rest)... and with (mostly) attractive pricing, too, ... is now OFF so many people’s shopping lists........ the store loses $, and WE shoppers also lose $ (having to find things, often at higher prices, elsewhere)
I am confident that WM management would fix the problem if they could only figure out how. A few more store security folks, yes (pushing up prices, tho). Asking for better city policing, yes (but some cities refuse to do much).
My thoughts exactly.
ha ha!
not sure but he really didn’t look the type, somehow...

What...? Did he go crazy when his Viagra lasted longer than 4 hours?
In our defense, half of the folks with FL aren’t native, but often as not are part time residents who can’t afford to park their cars in northern states like NY [or practice driving there] so they buy and register cars here and just leave them in their vacation home garages.
Damn.
Didn’t cost me a keyboard but did waste a bit of good single malt!
I appreciate your word-smithing.
