He caused a furor last year when he teased plot details about the sixth season of Game Of Thrones.
And now series star Ian McShane has walloped the hornet's nest once more by dragging up the way the fans reacted to it.
Having spoken publicly about storylines including the return of The Hound, and his own character [Brother Ray], fans went into meltdown at the spolier-esque nature of his words.
But a year on and it still bemuses the former Lovejoy star.

Series star??? No, he had a two episode cameo arc, and it was brief. I liked seeing him again; but, he is not one of the series stars.
Battle of the Bastards was fantastic last season. I felt like I was watching a big screen epic movie during the battle scenes.
bttt!
I don’t think the spousal unit has seen it and she has watched a fair amount of British TV.
We plan on watching it again. It’s easy on the nerves.
“”Game of Thrones” sucks wet mud turtles ...”
Those wet mud turtles are delicious!
“George Martin can keep his unfinished books - we dont need him anymore.”
Hey, hey, hey, some of us want to read those books! (And if only Gogol hadn’t burned volume II of Dead Souls!).
Since we’re confessing:
I have cable. I don’t like how much it costs, I don’t like any of the programming; what I like is that it adds braodband internet and enables VOIP telephony (Vonage).
I DO NOT WANT SATELLITE.
So, I tell em I use an antenna. Everything I watch comes in free on the antenna, and I have the Blu-Ray for movies I want to see after they’ve left the theaters. “Why would I want to pay for content I’m not going to watch when I can not watch it now for nothing?”
............we have TOTAL agreement!
Just finished watching the last episode via Amazon last night!
What a performance.
Astute that you could tell that I never watched “Deadwood” either. My wife bought me the complete “Have Gun - Will Travel” which is much better than any modern day socially spun cowboy soap opera.

What role is that? I saw the post with a photo, but didn’t see a reference to the movie or show.

Well... give it a shot someday :-).
I can assure you, the words “politically correct” never crossed my mind watching the show.
So this McShane has it exactly right: turn this crap off, and instead attend to your family, your country, and your loved ones....
“Never seen.....” “Exactly right....” “Turn this crap off.”
Genius!!!!
I am loving the clips your are linking to. :)
One of the best shows in television history, don’t sell yourself short, you will love it.
I’ve never watched that.
Is the Hound in it?
:D
Al Swearingen in Deadwood.
Deadwood is approximately 36, 1 hour TV shows on HBO over 3 seasons.
I watched them all on Amazon over a period of about a month or so.
No western EVER even comes close to Deadwood’s REALISM. It’s truly a march back in time. The language is non stop cursing. Lots of brutal stuff but you get hooked on it. It’s not for certain female watching and NO children at all.
