Elaborate please.
Please explain.
Wasn’t listening. What did he say?
By the way, I am ok with dreamers who turn 16-23 in 2017 and no younger and no older. No criminal record, good school attendance. Younger - get out. Older - get out. Parents - get out.
Look, Trumps going to cave on so-called “Dreamers”, its only a matter of time before he makes it official but he’s been telegraphic is since his campaign appearance on Hannity last year. So get ready.
It’s called the art of the deal. When you make a deal, you don’t get 100%, but if you make a good deal, you get the things that matter the most. Getting 80% of the illegals deported is a hecuvalot better then getting 2 or 3% under TUPOT (the unillustrious predecessor of Trump).
The fight over “Dreamers” is reserved for later and for administrative remedies. Denying them extended family immigration privileges will help, as will denying them citizenship. Providing economic help to return to their home countries may eventually also be needed.
CRIME PAYS!!!
could you be a little more vague?
I don’t understand. President Trump hasn’t been caving on anything. He’s been delayed, yes, but he just keeps hugging along. I’ll be disappointed if he gives me something to be disappointed about.
“Apparently, according to Rush, there’s a price to be paid for following the law.”

The left has made an art of incrementalism, slowly working towards what they want over the past 100 years. Conservatives are all too happy to cut off our noses to spite our own faces, and demand all or nothing.
Would I like to see the dreamers deported? Hell yes. Am I happy to take whatever improvement we can get in regards to illegal immigration even if it’s not everything I would like? Most certainly.
We need to stop letting perfection being the enemy of the good.
First, we stop calling them Dreamers.
Next, we send them to their parents.
THAT is the loving thing to do.
If they grow up in America, they will hate America.
Summarizing for folks: Rush thinks that deporting “Dreamers” has no up-side. It’s lose-lose mainly because we look like meanies and it doesn’t help the kids.
Arm_Bears, you’re right. I don’t think anyone is thinking this through.
There needs to be real penalties for breaking our laws and deportation for illegally entering should not be off the table for anyone.
They’re so concerned about dividing families. Well, how about citizen-kids who lose parents to the actions of illegals? How about kids whose folks get divorced? Or abandoned? How about the kids of illegals who parents cross the border with out them? Or send them over without their parents?
They make it sound like families being separated never happens and it usually happens either with the parent themselves willfully (divorce, abandonment, leaving to enter illegally) or through the acts of criminals when they kill citizen-parents in driving accidents or murder. For citizens who lose a parent or child, where’s the win-win for those families?
Why doesn’t anyone say: you come hear illegally and “you can’t leave?” Great, you just earned a felony conviction on your record. You can’t vote. You can’t become a citizen. You can’t own a firearm. You can’t get a driver’s license. Still want to stay?
I wish there were something that could be done to elected and judicial officials who blocked agencies from enforcing the law. We the People were promised with the Amnesty of 1986 that the border would be secured and the immigration laws enforced. That didn’t happen and a lot of officials who held our trust betrayed it and kicked the can down the road.
I was listening to Rush. He basically said that deporting the more criminal elements of illegal aliens take precedent over the dreamers. We can only do so much at a time and we need to prioritize.
Because what we need are pictures of cute girls in their high school graduation outfits crying their eyes out as they are being deported because their parents brought them to the US when they were 2.
That will become the poster image the left uses to fight ALL of Trump’s immigration efforts.
The dreamer question is a legitimate one, in my opinion. People on both sides can be concerned about the status of little ones brought over.
My opinion. Your mileage may vary.
Back to the thread title.....what, exactly did Rush say about Dreamers???
(2nd request. TIA)
You post no link and are posting mere hearsay. Stop cluttering up the news page. This belongs in chat.
Since when was Rush Limbaugh elected President???
He has his OPINIONS that he wants to entertain his radio show listeners with...
I haven’t heard President Trump (not Limbaugh) say anything yet about Dreamers and until I do, I will wait, but people’s opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one...
Uh no. He’s not. I’ve listened to a majority of the show and he hasn’t said ANYTHING of the kind other than user the phrase “Dreamers” several times.
And, Trump rethinks the wall.
