A Brooklyn, New York, teenager lost his arm in a Craigslist robbery gone wrong on Friday afternoon, authorities said.
Police say the 17-year-old boy connected with a man on Craigslist who was selling a pair of Air Jordan sneakers. They met about 1 p.m. in the Canarsie neighborhood, where the teen got into the seller's SUV and pulled out a gun, police said. The teen stole the sneakers and then walked away.
He walked across the street with a bag apparently holding the sneakers, and the theft victim made a U-turn, stepped on the gas and ran over the teenager, pinning him against a metal fence and severing his arm, police told WPIX.

It’s difficult to pull up your saggy ghetto pants with only one arm.
Did he get his shoes back?
Lol!
He was disarmed by the victim.
The perp had a gun, and used it to threaten the driver.
Won’t be a happy ending for the shoe seller, who is an idiot.
Meeting a stranger on a street to sell Air Jordans? Dumb!
Not armed and going alone? Dumb!
Running down the guy over $100 when not in imminent danger? Dumb!
Should have taken his loss and moved on. Sell on ebay.
“Can he still be charged with armed robbery?”
He doesn’t have a leg to stand on.
More trouble on Craig’s List. I met a seller at city hall once, there is no reason to fool around with possibly dangerous situations.
Gimme my shoes! Now hop along you little punk.
This reminds me of a Monty Python skit.
“But you have no arms.”
“’Tis but a flesh wound.”
Can he still be charged with armed robbery?

I’ll go out on a limb here and say yes.
Sure, the guy was a thief, but he does have the right to bare arms.
Bummer about the arm dude.
One-armed robbery. At the Six-nine precinct he's known as the one-armed bandit.
Dunno, sounds to me like he’s been “disarmed”
Jordan is SO yesterday. Probably wouldn’t have been a problem with a pair of Air Sikma’s.
What is it with those people who committ violence over a pair of shoes?
.
Costly pair of Jordans.
Sharia by accident?
.
No point in him owning a pair of Air Jordans now - how’s he going to tie them?
