Anchor Scott Pelley greeted "CBS Evening News" viewers with that line Monday night.
Pelley opened the show standing in front of a photo of President Trump which bore the words "Reality Check."
"Today, President Trump told a U.S. military audience that there have been terrorist attacks that one knows about because the media choose not to report them," said Pelley.
Trump told military leaders at CENTCOM Monday that terror attacks are being under-reported by the media.

We definitely have some separate realities going on here.
The MSM is no longer interested in reporting “the news”, they are only interested in “making the news”, becoming the story rather than reporting it. That’s why we are reading a story about how a news reader opened his broadcast. This is not “news” it is propaganda. The motiviation is now only to drive more hits to their websites and social media feeds and to attract viewers, they just hide behind crap stories like this fake news story to do it rather than being honest like the tabloids and running pure fantasy about alien babies or bigfoot monsters to attract the audience.

I am opening my post by saying Scott Pelley is married to PC.
That’s Pelley’s opinion, which is why it’s inappropriate for an anchor to say.
If it were said by a commentator, we would still disagree, but at least expressing an opinion would be proper in that case, even if the opinion is wrong.
The anchorman is supposed to be as “objective” as possible.
Is that the weird guy with the permanent upside-down smile?
Among the pack of hyenas delivering (stupid unsolicited) opinion he is among the more ignorable.
CBS, for news, no longer exists for me.
CBS, however, has most of my favorite fictional entertainment.
