I’m fine with what Trump said. We’ve not committed mass murder but we have as a nation killed a huge number of people in our endless parade of wars. Trump didn’t create a moral equivalence argument but stated the truth.
Then there is the matter of the 50 million or more of our own babies we’ve killed as a nation under the guise of “choice”.

There is no question but that he could have phrased this in a much better way. However, I would ask you if every statement that you have ever made during the course of your entire life has been made perfectly? I’m guessing that the answer is probably not. Which just means that the guy is human and didn’t phrase things perfectly. I don’t believe that he created a moral equivalence.
I think that the reason so many people are jumping on you is that the guy has been president for about 15 days, and you are already stating that you’re prepared not to vote for him nearly four years down the line. Why the rush to judgment? Why don’t you see what the guy actually does over the next several years before making your mind up? To me, it seems like the only purpose for you stating this is to create a thread that has a lot of those one-liners that you claim to dislike so much. Well, it seems to me like you asked for it, so you got it.
The truth of the matter is that you, in your own way, misspoke just As Trump did. Ain’t that amazing, two human beings misspeaking? Perhaps the realization that you misspoke in a similar manner would make you a bit more understanding of what Trump did?
