In so many twitter posts about the wall you will invariable see the snide snotty liberal counter argument: "So you built a wall, but ladders and tunnels are a thing" (I'm such a clever smart liberal, so smug and intelligent).
I for one am getting sick of these idiots who don't realize that the wall is only part of the plan of enforcing the border and Making America Safe again.
So i am going to share some memes we can use to re post here to destroy the liberal smugness in one fell swoop.
Tunnels? Ground penetrating radar. The BP already drags tires every day after the wall is erected they can just drag the radar.
Get caught climbing over or digging under? Two-years in Prison, then deportation.
Just to add to what you’ve said... Even if we were only building a wall and 10% of them got over/under it, it would STILL be stopping 90%.
Exactly. Just because a particular method is not foolproof, doesn’t mean one stops trying to protect yourself in some defensive manner.
Might sound harsh, but I am not opposed to a minefield and manned machine gun towers along the wall. We are being invaded by illegals who are intent on destroying our country.
And a wall is to dely so the Border Patrol can get there and intercept.

I can see using these measures at our country’s borders, yes, but not within a private neighborhood.
Although, it (minefields and gun towers) probably does occur in areas of very wealthy estates belonging to the rich and famous.
There are several suburbs in my area (Marin County, Ca,) that I would feel nervous driving into unless I had someone actually waiting for my arrival. The fact that I’m a minority, plus my car is old and noting spectacular makes me conspicuous. Some of these towns do have mounted cameras going around the clock at points of entry. That’s just a fact of modern life I accept.
The ‘defense in depth’ strategy is called for, each layer stops a significant portion of incursion. Set the wall back from geographic border sufficient for a predator drone kill zone, well marked as to intention. Add different detection and deterrent techniques as needed.

Detect and destroy them before they even get close to the barrier.
And obviously the barrier needs to have a component of electrified razor wire. And sensors. And guard towers. And constant human and drone patrols.

If you haven’t seen this show, there is a “WALL” separating areas. This is the type of wall Trump should build (/s I know its Sci-Fi)
In this clip a group of people are scaling this wall, although if it were a real wall, it is unlikely anyone could physically do what they are doing. Certainly not with a bale of pot on their backs.
But like a real border wall it takes time to climb it. Drones on patrol would catch anyone trying to do so.
If our drones were equipped like this one is, no one would even try to climb it.
