I think even the most selfish union boss must realize that dwindling membership (in the private sector) means their own days are numbered. At some level, they have to make jobs a priority.

This is a no brainer for the unions. Up to 40% voted for Trump already in 2012. The bosses know this. They know that four years ago Obama deliberately abandoned the white working class vote.
Trump does not have to bribe them. All he has to do is assure them that the trade structures that will be put in place will not only assure their jobs, but create incentives for similar jobs to appear. The response by both the Teamsters and the building/Sheet-metal unions has been phenomenal.
The only one he won’t win over is the government service union. That can be crushed by simply reducing government jobs and size.

Jobs and fair trade. That is the ultimate language of unions.

Unleashing $trillions of energy jobs is enough to make the union MEMBERS happy...
I just hope they pass it on to their leaders to STOP USING THEIR MONEY TO SUPPORT SOCIALISTS

My personal opinion:
Winning over Union Bosses: Probability = 0%
Winning over Union Members: Trump must have already accomplished that to some extent in Election 2016. It would be nice if we had some data. In any case winning again in 2020 will require repeating his sweep of OH, PA, WI and MI or at least most of them. So he has to hang on to the 2016 converts and, if possible, expand their numbers.
The key to that is winning over union members (and their wives) and other working class folks particularly in the manufacturing sector. His job growth policies are clearly aimed at achieving that goal. On Day 1 he invites the mostly manufacturing CEOs and the Unions to the White House. On Day 1! The Dems will not fail to see the message that sends. The union guys and gals will also take notice. Trump is well on his way to stealing union members from the Dems in 2020 and hopefully beyond.

Richard Trumka actually had to thank Trump for killing TPP.
This is political log splitting. Trump has found a crack in the Dem Party here that could split them WIDE OPEN.

He wins the union members, just not the union bosses.

By telling them the truth that Democrats only want their money and their votes but could not care less about them as people.

Like any liberal group. You must convince them the laws of (insert the groups applicable set of laws such as economics, physics, etc. ) were not put in place to hurt them but are true none the less?

What do Trans Rights and 'Reproductive Health' (abortion) have to do with the everyday jobs of AFSCME and SIEU members?
Exactly. That's how you split the unions off from the dems, and sell it to their leadership. Most rank-and-file union members want nothing to do with all the cultural marxism that's been baked into union politics for so long. Want to grow your membership? Stop hanging out with the losers on the other side of the aisle. Stop pushing all their moonbat causes, and slide a little to the right where most decent hard-working people default to socially and politically.
Labor rights are a good thing in proper context and degree. Trade unions can actually be a positive influence and keep the US from devolving into a 3rd world country. Done properly, they foster pride, safety and professionalism in the trades. They help the economy grow by helping to ensure that your average Joe/Jane Sixpack will have enough dough in his/her pocket to purchase goods, services, and property.
I'm sure at least some of these people would like nothing more than to ditch the hardcore commie whackos they're forced to throw their lot in with. All Trump needs to do is show that he genuinely meant it, and there's a seat saved for them at the table if they want it.
