President-elect Donald Trump says his administration is working on a plan that will make illegal immigrant children 'very happy,' and it will done in the next couple months
The president-elect said in the course of his campaign for the White House that illegal immigrants of all ages would be sent out of the country. Only the 'good' ones would be allowed to return, Trump stated.
He vowed to overturn President Obama's executive orders directing immigration officials to focus their efforts on deporting criminals, shielding children through his Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.
After some pleading from exiting President Barack Obama and immigration reform advocates, including some Republicans in Congress, Trump seemed to soften his stance.
He told Time Magazine in early December that he wanted to 'work something out' for illegal immigrant children, known as DREAMers.
'I want Dreamers for our children also. We’re going to work something out. On a humanitarian basis it’s a very tough situation,' he said. 'We’re going to work something out that’s going to make people happy and proud. But that’s a very tough situation.'

These statements are not the same.
I can’t wait. Whatever he comes up with will make his base far happier that the so-called Dreamers.

I believe the motive of the press lately has been to make Trump’s supporters become disenfranchised with him. It’s why there has been a lot of stories about him backing off his policies.
They tried this trick in November.
Now they are doing it yet again.
DREAMers could have a much better chance if they develop some vitally needed high-level skills. High-school washouts and slackers are definitely not going to be very competitive.
These DREAMers shall have to be very good, if they ever expect to stay. Otherwise, practice your Spanish, you are going to need it.
Some of these people have been here for decades with the government’s tacit approval.
Heck, Odumbass INVITED more and SHIPPED THEM IN.
So, if someone has been here for a long time, has children here, owns property here, has been a good WORKING member of society then they get deported last (just kidding - maybe a ‘guest worker’ visa - BUT NO Citizenship AND NO RIGHT TO VOTE - EVER)
I am flexible on what to do with them.
But anyone here who is just on welfare- BYE - let your own country pay for you. Your kids you had here are NOT citizens either, the most they can get are guest worker VISA’s - AND NO VOTING.
Criminals? if deported once, then they return and commit another crime, then life in prison.

He doesn’t do a damned thing for the “Dreamers” until e-verify is enforced, the border is Secure, Sanctuary Cities are a thing of the past and criminal invaders are sent south of the Rio Grande.

Their residency in this country was the choice of their foreign parents, not the Americans.
What country allows foreign nationals decide who their citizenry will be?
Or worse, foreign nationals who are criminals since they didn’t bother to respect the nation’s laws when they decided to bestow the benefits of our nation on their kids?
Even better for them: their children outrank ours since they typically belong to a Protected Class “minority”.
How do I explain that to my kids? You’re 13th generation Americans, but some gang banger whose parents snuck him in to the country gets to cut in line for education, employment, military?
No sane country does this.
WHEN the border wall is built, WHEN “Affirmative Action (EO 11246)” is ended, WHEN Birthright Citizenship is clarified to be ONLY for children of citizens or legal aliens, THEN we can talk about mitigating the “plight” of ADULTS who were brought here as children.
My personal opinion is that they are a 5th column that will only bear us a grudge all their lives and will become a vicious and violent group trying to rip apart the U.S. for their entire lives. What would you think if your parents were deported back across the line, leaving you here to fend for yourself?
So there’s no good solution. The above criteria will still leave what is nothing more then an enemy nation in our midst. We have seen the violence and hate they have visited on us for the past 40 years.
The burden of proof should be on THEM if they want to stay, and there should be no special help afforded them. They and their families already sucked tens of thousands each out of our schools, welfare rolls, hospitals and communities that they did not deserve. In the end, why them and not the millions of legal immigrants waiting patiently in line?
