I'm curious how many of you will be celebrating President Trump's inauguration on Friday.
I made a vow to celebrate at Wing's Plus in Coral Springs where Brian Craig, co-host of the Steve Kane radio show (the FIRST on radio to endorse Trump), will have a Trump Inauguration party. I made a vow during the campaign (and especially during a Trump rally I attended down here on Aug. 10) that I would definitely attend.
I remember many nervous times during the campaign and now it will be SWEET to celebrate victory. I know my mind at the party will wander back over many events during the campaign starting with Donald Trump's announcement in June 2015 followed by immediate assertions by the MSM that Trump had NO chance of being nominated and probably wouldn't even last by the first debate.
Over and over and over again, the MSM declared the Trump candidacy dead and EVERY time he prevailed. EVERY TIME! In August 2016, Chuck Todd even kept declaring that Trump would have to drop out of the campaign because it was OVER for him. Yes, they all mocked the very idea that Trump could win...and then he WON. The most INCREDIBLE political campaign in American history.
So it will be great to celebrate. Oh, and while I am at the party, I made sure to record a full 5 hours of the inauguration on TV to savor later.
Taking my car in for oil & filter change and to get noise from tires checked out. The off to BJ’s Club to shop and buy a case of coffee cups for the church. Then come home, kick back and watch the inaugural, if there is nothing serious with the car.

The flag will go up at dawn. After I get the kids to school I’ll log on to FR and keep track of things. I don’t really want to miss watching the events, but every network , incl Fox, seems to ruin things with their vacuous unending commentary. I will open and enjoy some champagne for the swearing-in.
Working in the morning, but a trip to the Pub for lunch, watching with a nice pint of lager. Golf in the afternoon. The idiot class had Monday off, I’m ducking out Friday afternoon.
Skipping out to play golf when the rest of the country has to work is way more satisfying than taking a federally recognized holiday. I always wondered what happened to all those kids I served detentions with in high school. The first time I played golf on a weekday afternoon I knew exactly what they were up to these days. It was like reconnecting with my lost tribe.
So as Donald fires off a few executive orders to undo the last 8 miserable years, I’ll mark the occasion in my own contrarian way.
Oh, I have some frozen pizzas in the fridge so I might enjoy them when I get home from Wings Plus.
I will celebrate ‘good friday’ (not capitalized, I mean no sacrilege) By drinking fine champagne in golden chalices with some great Americans who were Trump supporters from day one, who NEVER backed off their support regardless of the propaganda ministry!
I’m going to “Jeff’s Pirate Cove” in Talafofo for a special lunch
c-span has minimal screen clutter and no insipid talking head commentary.
Watching TV with my Trump cigar lit and an Adult beverage not sure what kind yet any thoughts? Later a little party at home, with some shrimp cocktails, my special Hot cheese dip, tamales and chocolate silk pie for desert. Watching all the festivities.

I will be taking my 13 year old granddaughter to the Inauguration at the Capitol in Washington DC — creating a wonderful learning experience and memory for her (and me).

It will be a great experience.
Have to work, but just knowing the inauguration came and went is satisfaction enough for me.
The frustration and dismay week after week; month after month; year after year since 2009 has me just happy we avoided the abyss.
We have a real chance at vanquishing the communists here at home and returning us to our rightful place in the world. Not to mention to breathe free again.
I’ll be wandering around DC. I’ll have my 4K camera and my phone for updates.
appetizers, a DVR that has room, maybe some wine spritzers (it is during the day, after all).
Although it will probably end up being a bologna sandwich and a glass of Pepsi. LOL! No one here wants to celebrate, so I’ll be on my own.
OH yes... of course, Freeping will definitely be on the agenda. :)
Ill be pulling a 53’ trailer on the north east corridor with a big smile on my face. I hope to get home this weekend and toast with an Old No. 7
