I listen to the tail end on the way home from work. Was Beckel slurring his words?
Has he had a TIA in the speech area?
He was slurring his words yesterday for sure. I think they hop him up on nyquil and black licorice right before the show.
I noticed that as well. Hmmm....
Well if he’s on pain killers for his back he sure shouldn’t be on tv. I just had surgery and they have me on round the clock painkillers - I can barely get up and get to the washroom, let alone anything else!
I think he was trashed,day before too.
Tonight they all treated him like a sorry ass intoxicated (booze,pills?) relative
Remember when Rush got addicted to painkillers because of a back injury? Beckel never passed up a chance to condemn him and called him a drug addict and he should be arrested.
He was horrible, was a real embarrassment, and there were hundreds of negative comments about him at “The Five” website.
He made Juan Williams look like Churchill. Must Miss TV.
Now that you mention that, I do remember Beckel making some remarks about Rush. Don’t remember too many details, but condemning anyone too harshly for an addiction is pretty thoughtless, even though those addicted are partly to blame in most all cases.
Geez, he was just being his disjointed speech self. You think that Fox won’t be watching him like a hawk? And you think the 2nd day he’s back on he’s going to get loaded before going live? Leave him alone. Like a bunch of vultures. Do you really want Juan back? Then you better lay off of Bob. Sheesh
Juan is far preferable to Beckel.
It’s obvious that Beckel is in extremely poor health. I actually feel sorry of the guy.
When Beckel was drinking, he hired a prostitute for blow j-bs. Afterward, she blackmailed him. You can still find her original ad on the net. So did. Bob learn from his own sins? No. He was on the air in the last few months, telling weaklings like Michael Smerconish and others that Trump had all this sexual dirt on him. And that “dirt” Beckel was peddling was the pissgate garbage.
Beckel is hardcore.
Beckle has a certain decency to him in spite stance of issues with which I don’t always subscribe. Surprisingly pleasantly so also occasionally finds an acorn too. Bless his heart.
I sort of started watching The Five after Bectel left. I turn it off if Geraldo in on, but I can take Juan. I will probably check to see if Bectel is on and change channels if he is.
Yes; he was. He was yesterday, too. To me it sounded more like a bad set of false teeth than “something else”. Who knows?
Brit Hume was just on Fox — Tucker Carlson, I think, and he sounded a little slurry, too.
