FR does not come close. All have a purpose.
Kristol is not associated with NR.
Kristol = The Weekly Standard
Time to go to bed.
If you don’t like NR or Weekly Standard, read something else. Name a weekly publication that gives coherent voice to Trumpism.
And if there isn’t one, who is going to start one?
WHY ISN’T THIS IN BREAKING NEWS???!?
I became very suspicious of NR much earlier last year, and have stopped looking at them altogether. Something is funny there with the management and where influence is coming from.
I think the same regarding Trump.
If you think NR is clueless regarding the conservative message, you are as clueless about NR is is about Trump. The only thing I have ever opposed regarding "conservatives" is conservatives think conservatives who make mistakes should be executed.
NR has been as good as it gets over the last 6 decades. I think they erred regarding Trump. I s'pect they will come around on that venue and have already started.
Regarding the conservative message, NR is still the best of the best.
I have no idea what that even means.
NR has been the best of the best on the conservative message for about 6 decades. That makes it OK for them to err, just one time, regarding their take on Trump.
They will come around on this venue and have already started.
FR has been with us doing yoeman's work for 2 decades. NR has been doing the same for 6 when in most of those years there were no allies to encourage them.
I'll give NR a mulligan on Trump.
NR is still the best of the best on the conservative message.
They have been pushing the idea that the only solution to the illegal alien inundation was amnesty. That we in fact needed the flood of illegal aliens.
That we had no choice but to abandon the rule of law and to surrender the country.
That was the viewpoint of the Chamber of Commerce and the employers of illegal aliens and the National Review was happy to be their mouthpiece.
I’m sure they were well paid.
As were the members of Congress who also pushed this view and obstructed the citizens demands that the illegal alien inundation be stopped.
Selling out your countrymen is not conservative.
That was the reason for the massive opposition to Trump.
He was the first GOP candidate since the last amnesty to not be an amnesty candidate. The GOP had effectively blocked the citizens from keeping their country.
The advocates for cheap labor had controlled the process and Trump broke their stranglehold on the party, giving the citizen the chance to keep their country.
They would have been happier if Hillary had won.
She would have left the borders open, the laws unenforced and provided illegal aliens AND their employers amnesty.
Cheap Labor Express propagandists
Bush, McCain and Romney were all on board the Cheap Labor Express.
That is what the National Review gets paid to push.
No borders. No enforcement. Amnesty is the only answer.
Trump broke the stranglehold that the Cheap Labor Express had on the GOP.
Every nominee since the last amnesty has been an amnesty candidate.
They got Trumped this time and that ticked them off.
They had been effectively preventing the citizens from keeping the rule of law and their country and Trump gives us the opportunity to retain them.
That’s why they went full retard.
I wont.WFB would be/is rolling over in his grave right now because of what has become of nr.Its not going to change.
Dumped NR
Reading Chronicles.
Nicely updated recently.
Kristol is associated with the Weekly Standard and not National Review and you told me to go to bed, when quite clearly, you are clueless.
I went to bed as I said I would. You are paranoid and combative. You can’t take yes for an answer.
I think you need a rest. Try supergluing your keyboard. Or, get a pet.
I think you have me confused with someone else. You sound like you should be committed to a facility. How sad.
I think you have me confused with someone who cares about what you think or say. How humorous.
