The group Vietnam Veterans Against McCain attacks Senator John McCain's heroism as a POW in the Vietnam conflict; this is making some waves in the news due to McCain's presidential candidacy. The documentary "Missing, Presumed Dead the Search for America's POWs" however focuses more on Senator John McCain successfully blocking the release of classified POW/MIA documents.

Sure seems like old John is getting meaner and meaner. That’s not a good sign.
I remember reading about this here on FR a few years ago. What kind of man is McCain that he would keep others from finding out the fate of POWs and MIAs? I can't believe I voted for the guy back on '08.
“John is getting meaner and meaner. “
That was a problem with my Aunt in the early stages of “Oldtimer’s Disease.”
Yep, like a mean old boar, John has been inhabiting the swamp for far too long.
And it’s obvious that he will not be an asset to the new administration. If he were to “leave early”, it would benefit us all.
LoL
McCain is no hero.
He was shot down because he disobeyed orders and was flying too low.
He is the only POW from that war to have a monument erected by the enemy.
Where do I sign-up?
If you have an inside track to the Trump team, ask them to put this on the ‘to do in the 1st 100 days’ list.
Where do I sign up!!!
He starting to anticipate his Judgment Day which is quickly approaching the old degenerate.
Have you noticed that his beer distributing spouse ($$$$) has not been on the radar for some time?
It’s been said time and time again, but I’ve heard many stories of Vietnam vets who seriously dislike Mclame. His capture was purely down to his own stupidity and arrogance and risked the safety of many other soldiers in the process.
It was this that President-elect Trump was alluding to when he spoke of McCain in 2015, as Trump is very close to many vets groups and no doubt had heard is,liar evidence. Unfortunately the biased media rushed to back the traitor
How about a cite on that, not that I doubt it - it is consistent with all of the other oft reported episodes involving his unsat performance as a naval aviator. For example, he has never denied the fact that while still a flight student down at Corpus, he flew a Spad ito the water during carrier landing practice [FCLPs], alleging engine failure, which assertion was later proven to be a bare-a**ed lie!! Anyone else, other than a boat school Admirals brat, would have gotten the instant chop for the flying failure and very possibly a court martial for lying about it. His behavior in Forrestal during the fire was reprehensible. - While his shipmates, including many aviators, risked all by assisting in fighting the fire, McCain went below and made himself very scarce. The litany of his low character and very dubious motives in deepsixing the POW/MIA sighting records then being maintained in Bangkok is well-known among his critics. Is it any surprise that neither he nor Senator Kerry, his accomplice in this act of treason and betrayal, has ever been held to account? Songbird McCain is a thoroughly evil man and a disgrace to the naval service.
Theirs is a marriage of convenience much like the clintons. There’s no love or affection involved at all.
McCain is unfortunately my senator even though I did my best to convince everyone that Kelli Ward was the far better choice. Anyway; once in a while he comes to my town to do a town hall meeting and his wife comes along to show solidarity but everyone who goes to those things can plainly see she is bored to tears and hates doing those things. She would probably rather be at home with the pool boy or something... anything else but hanging out with him.

from the article
“As other pilots saw it, John McCain, quite simply, had got himself shot down.”
JohnF’nKerry also was complicit in this.
McLame needs to take his place along side of Hanoi Jane at the VFW ... veterans will understand what I mean. Share a beer with John
