A spectacular and beautiful cloud formation was spotted in the skies above Australia by a passenger on an aeroplane.
Ilya Katsman, 22, saw the phenomenon on a Virgin Australia flight from Perth to Adelaide.
A spokesperson from the Met office explained to The Telegraph that the cloud is of a type commonly seen in Australian skies, but they are rarely as beautifully distinctive as this example.

Having spent many years living at the ocean front and watching waves, it is interesting how often when flying that clouds look a lot like ocean waves.

The physics are the same. Fluid mechanics is a part of aeronautical engineering.
Morning Glory cloud is a rare meteorological phenomenon occasionally observed in different locations around the world. The southern part of Northern Australia’s Gulf of Carpentaria is the only known location where it can be predicted and observed on a more or less regular basis due to the configuration of land and sea in the area. The settlement of Burketown attracts glider pilots intent on riding this phenomenon.

Actually, my theory is that they spay to neutralize the effects of all the TV and radio waves hitting us every day. The reason the media never covers the issue is because of how harmful their broadcast transmissions are to us (I mean the radio waves, not the content of their broadcasts although...)
It is a thought anyhow.
