..normal people, who can be several to more pounds "overweight" deemed by people that never carried an ounce of fat on their bodies are actually quite normal....
we come from German stock, Mexican stock,Italian stock, Polish stock and Russian stock etc....
many people come from generations of people that are "heavy" per today's standards...
we can not all be the same...
we can not all be skinny..
but we all MUST TRY TO BE SKINNY TO FIT INTO SOCIETY....no matter what...
thus we have horrible diet food, diet drinks, sugar substitutes, fat subsitutes, pills and special shakes, etc all so we can fit into some academics notion of what is "normal"...
screw them...
the one word we should follow is simply "moderation"....
I had a really old car for a while. My mechanic used to remove the rust from the calipers by soaking them in soda. Coca Cola, I think.

I drank a lot of it when I was on the Adkins diet. If you drink it with a bunch of protein and fat you don’t get hungry from it because you’re full and it satisfies the craving for something sweet. Also diet orange with heavy cream was a nice treat when you’re avoiding carbs. Tastes like a creamsicle.
Nowadays I mostly drink plain water.
