Fran Tarkenton had 4 “runner-up” rings.
Last time he headed for the “Bowl”, most were chanting “One for the Thumb!”
Case in point, the Detroit Lackards.........
9-7, only two games over .500 and they once again get their asses whipped and can only score 6 points on two field goals........
What crap, Bendy-- Never, ever trust a man in a cheese fez... Trust a man with true hat & tassel style and go with your gut!
Numbers are regular season stats in yards:
Alabama Offense....... 40 Pass 9 Run
Clemson Defense....... 11 Pass 20 Run
Clemson Offense....... 7 Pass 37 Run
Alabama Defense.......9 Pass 1 Run
On defense, Clemson should stop Bamas passing game and could slow Bamas running game.
Bama’s defense should stop Clemsons running game cold but the Clemson offense could have success with colleges 7th best passing game. Bamas 1st against the run but 9th against the pass.
Looks favorable for Bama but if Clemsons run defense holds and they find success in their very good passing game it could be close. Obviously, a good passing offense scores points more quickly than a running offense. So if one team had to come from behind, Clemsons passing game would have a better chance than Alabamas running game.
1) Dallas Cowboys vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
2) Green Bay Packers vs. New England Patriots
3) Dallas Cowboys vs. New England Patriots
4) Atlanta Falcons vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
5) Seattle Seahawks vs. New England Patriots
BONUS GAME: Green Bay Packers vs. Kansas City Chiefs
They completely ignored Dallas Cowboys vs. Kansas City that I would find great to have the two original Dallas teams going at it--
So, which of the above... do y'all want?
Well, since you asked Bendy, here are my famous yearly Fearless Predictions for the entire NFL Playoff including the Super Bowl. So far 75% for 2016.
Wild Card winners:
Oakland.......whoops
Pittsburgh....check
Green Bay....check
Seattle.........check
Division winners:
New England
Kansas City
Dallas
Atlanta
Conference winners:
New England
Atlanta
Super Bowl:
New England beats Atlanta
The good thing about seeing an NE-Atlanta Super Bowl would be seeing Atlanta’s #1 offense against NE’s #1 defense. That would be a lot of fun. The bad thing about that match-up would the no-contest, semi-boring pulverization of Atlanta’s terrible #27 defense by NE’s #3 offense.
A NE-Dallas match-up would favor NE but the game would be more balanced and possibly more enjoyable. Plus a lot more antics from Bendy the Robot.
Suck it, Krappernick!
Bendy, note: If my picked team doesn’t win the Division Round, my picks for the next round will change based on my overall rankings.
The Niners recent journeys into never-never land is a bit tough to take if youre a Niner fan like I was until I put them on ice for awhile. The Niners need new ownership with their head screwed on straight and a whole new direction. The Harbaugh thing, the leaving S.F. thing, and the Kaperdoink thing add up to fugeddabouddit for me.
San Francisco
...............................Year Rank
Before Harbaugh 2010 20
During Harbaugh 2011 4
During Harbaugh 2012 4
During Harbaugh 2013 3
On His Way Out 2014 22
After Harbaugh 2015 31
After Harbaugh 2016 31
Now one of the worst teams in football.
I am just so pleased that my Boys had a great season after Tony got hurt... that even if they should not make the Super Bowl, it is already been a much better season that I expected.
But for all the others here abouts--
It is SUPER BOW FOR MY BOYS... OR BUST!!!
Gadzooks, big-- Every single person on this thread knows what... you want!
Yet if it does come down to that... I'll root for the Pack instead of the cursed Patty Cheaters.
To me, Dallas came out of nowhere to become a premier team this year. I know Dallas has a tough offense and defense but I haven’t worked up the pass-rush strengths/weakness details yet.
When I work up the Pass/Rush Match-up Analysis & Viewing Sheet for each game, I’ll send it along. It is a great thing to have handy while watching the game. I always refer back to it while I’m watch a game.
BTW, how did you like my pre-game analysis for the ‘Bama-Clemson game?

To me, the pass/run analysis on offense and defense told a lot of the story and outcome.
Well said, appreciate the good years and hope for the best.
I feel the same way about the Chiefs. It’s been a far better year than I expected. Not too many are giving them a chance against the Steelers or Patriots but things are coming together for them at the right time of the season. They are also playing well in all 3 phases of the game.
Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill are creating many problems for opposing defenses. Alex Smith is finally looking like a top QB in taking advantage of the single coverage of the other offensive weapons with the problems created by Kelce and Hill for opposing D’s. They have been an explosive offense since Andy Reid has decided to exploit these things and open things up a bit. Alex Smith is finally looking comfortable in one offensive system and not as much as just a game manager he once was.
Pittsburgh can explode on offense as well as Chiefs fans witnessed in the first game between the two, earlier this year. So it’s not a given. I agree, whatever happens this weekend, it will still be a great season. Let’s hope both advance to the conference championship games.

Do you think we could talk them into... playing the Super Bowl in their Throwback Uniforms?
That would be wild, lol. If the old Texans-Cowboys do meet, my late father's team was the Cowboys so it would be kind of tough on who to root for.
CGato
Ain't neither gonna be in the SB so don't fret it
I’d put Cowboys/Patriots at “sexiest”. Followed by Packers/Patriots aka a great day for Big.
Well I’ve pondered enough, I guess I have to get off the pot.
Impy’s Divisional Picks
My Uncle Steve’s Falcons
Cowboys
Patriots
Chiefs
Good day for byesexuals
along with much of middle America ... I would like to see
KC vs ATL
