Megyn Kelly is reportedly being groomed to take for Savannah Guthrie as the lead anchor at the Today. Several sources who spoke with the New York Post on Thursday claims that Kelly, 46, could become the leading lady on the popular NBC morning show, replacing 45-year-old Guthrie.

Megyn may rue the day she left a network where she was the star of her own show. If Megyn does join the Today show by displacing Savannah Guthrie she will always be #2 on the show. Matt Lauer is the star of Today as several female #2’s have learned when they were removed from the show at his direction. Lauer is not going to allow any co-host’s star shine brighter than his. If the publicity hound Megyn tries the celebrity press game she’s been playing against Ailes and her employers at Fox the last six months she will find herself on the street as soon as Lauer perceives his perch is threatened.

Me Again has a ticking clock working against her. Take away her looks (which Father Time will do), and what do you have now? She lost all credibility as an objective reporter during the primary debate and with her subsequent actions. She is also very nasty and snarky, and has a stupid little laugh and a penchant for making stupid comments under her breath.
I won’t watch her, and I think that as her new audience figures out who she REALLY is, her career will fizzle and die. Yet, she could have stayed at Fox for a few million less per year, and gone on for maybe 10 more years...too bad for her that she over-reached, but good for the rest of us.

Megyn isn’t thinking about one thing.....when she dumps on Fox and moves..her audience will not be moving with her. She loves the folks, and makes whatever she can out of having a LOT of folks watching. She is just too much of a con artist in many many ways. She can read though, and that is a plus!
She finally gets to come out as the liberal she’s always been.

Savannah would never move to a more balanced news organization. Don’t you remember when she was on MSNBC? She was a snarky, snarling lefty.
