So far it hasn't disappointed. Another classic CBS production.
Almost 30 minutes and no parade yet. Some BS from the hosts, a crappy song from Sting, a tribute to the Estabans, and a play that had a song about Sticking it To the Man.
I love the holidays.

You never watch the Thanksgiving day parade on CBS. The contract is with NBC. They have the better coverage. That’s been the case for at least 50 years

I heard that it is delayed this year because the woman from Macy’s who is in charge of the parade found out that the Santa was drunk, and she had to scramble to find a new one.

The parade sucks to watch, but what it signifies! Spectacle! Tradition!
It's the same every year - Wife turns it up loud while she's in the kitchen creating a thanksgiving masterpiece. Nobody's watching it, and that's perfectly fine with me...

I have family coming over today. That means I will turn on the TV around 12:30 so they can watch football. At the end of the day I will turn the TV off and leave it off for the next 364 days. This is how it has gone for me for the last fourteen years. Highly recommended.
