Somebody on MSNBC was lamenting, that Trump apparently will go around the mainstream media, as he speaks out and makes decisions.

The MSNBC liberals were mad, that Trump would release a video speech summarizing where the transition stands.

What’s up with that? How is this any different, from ANY president, who goes somewhere and gives a speech? Then the media will comment? MSNBC saw the video, and then rendered their opinion from the liberal viewpoint. How are news people somehow “shut out” of the process, if Trump does a video, rather than a formal speech, or a formal press conference? What’s their beef here???

President Trump does not need the dinosaur-like newspaper. NYT needs to get themselves in line or they will be left behind.

President Trump operating out of NYC and DC creates a completely new dynamic.

Reagan also had a knack for communicating “past” the media, directly to the people.

They no longer control the news. They cannot take just a piece of footage and twist it, turn it, massage it to say something he didn’t actually say.

When you think about it, for all the years of America, the media has pretty much been in control. If they like a candidate, it’s obvious.
If they don’t like a candidate, it’s pretty obvious also.

But a candidate that they like will be shown to be a savior, while the ones that they don’t will be made into devils.

Trump has played the Media like a violin and will continue to do so until they come into line. They cannot extrapolate and reinterpret his videos. The entire statement is beforeth e citizens without being misinterpreted by the lyingmedia. BRILLIANT, I agree.

Reagan did indeed have a knack for it.
But it was too soon, technology-wise.

He was still heavily dependent on the media, and the media didn’t rub against him knowing the support Reagan had across America.

Plus, there actually were alot more media outlets back then. When you think about how many companies are actually in control today, you get the shivers, there have been so many acquisitions and mergers that there are only in fact about three opinions being heard anymore!

Trump, like Reagan, can provide highly valued content through any media source they want. Hillary and most other politicians rely on the media to create and enhance their image, which is difficult to sustain with alternate media.

20JAN2017: No more free rides on AF1. SS and Military needs only.

Speculation: DJT could use the “extra space” for troops going to and coming from the theater?
Tell the press to “pound sand”.

Trump is way ahead of his time utilizing the new media, twitter, you tube etc. He’s crushing the OLD MSM into irrelevancy.

I hope they have a strong strategy of feeding wrong information. That is what will destroy them the most quickly, if they are completely locked out of access. Nobody needs them and they’re usually late and wrong anyway.

It didn’t have to be this way. They got lazy and became the communications arm of the DNC. They no longer need reporters, just editors. So now they don’t know how to get news if it’s not spoon-fed to them.

I cancelled today's meeting with the failing @nytimes when the terms and conditions of the meeting were changed at the last moment. Not nice

I honestly don’t know of any other man who would grab the Left by their balzacs and make them do what he wants.

Perhaps a new meeting will be set up with the @nytimes. In the meantime they continue to cover me inaccurately and with a nasty tone!

When I came to this country, Truman was President and was also known as “Give ‘em Hell, Harry”. Poor Nixon got stuck with “Tricky Dicky”. We gotta’ think of a good moniker for The Donald that lets the world (and the media) know he means business!!!
