Somebody on MSNBC was lamenting, that Trump apparently will go around the mainstream media, as he speaks out and makes decisions.
The MSNBC liberals were mad, that Trump would release a video speech summarizing where the transition stands.
What’s up with that? How is this any different, from ANY president, who goes somewhere and gives a speech? Then the media will comment? MSNBC saw the video, and then rendered their opinion from the liberal viewpoint. How are news people somehow “shut out” of the process, if Trump does a video, rather than a formal speech, or a formal press conference? What’s their beef here???
They no longer control the news. They cannot take just a piece of footage and twist it, turn it, massage it to say something he didn’t actually say.
When you think about it, for all the years of America, the media has pretty much been in control. If they like a candidate, it’s obvious.
If they don’t like a candidate, it’s pretty obvious also.
But a candidate that they like will be shown to be a savior, while the ones that they don’t will be made into devils.
but the reporter-ette was super cute — all the while complaining about going around the ‘free press’
Couldnt agree more.....
Imagine a weekly YouTube progress update from Trump....every week for his entire term. What was accomplished, what to look forward to for the next week. He could publish on Saturdays to set up the Sunday AM show hosts for a depressing Sunday, controlliong the narrative.....
“How is this any different, from ANY president, who goes somewhere and gives a speech?”
The difference: a speech is available only to those present, who then selectively edit what the rest of us will see of it; via internet, Trump is making his complete comments available to the world without the consent of filtering reporters.
Liberals are mad that Trump brushes his teeth in the morning.
