Come on, Clooney is and has been box office poison for YEARS. Other than Oceans 11 and it's sequals, what has he actually been in that has made any money whatsoever? Nothing except an indie film here and there that made modest returns ("Up in the Air") and cameos in movies that did make money but not because of him ("Gravity").

This was on Drudge. Headline is not in line with what story actually says.
She was actually very supportive of Trump’s position on wiping out ISIS.
ISIS fighters are combatants; ISIS has violated numerous international laws in its own use of disallowed weapons and treatment of women.
OTOH, her statement that Trump’s threat to kill families (noncombatants) of terrorists cannot be done, because it would be a violation of Geneva Conventions (international law) is actually correct also.
The Geneva Conventions, which are essentially rules of war between **nations**, make clear distinctions between combatants and civilian populations.
Herein lies the conundrum.
Terrorism by its very nature blurs those distinctions, since hiding amongst civilians and receiving civilians’ tacit or direct support, while remaining officially unaffiliated with any specific nation, is exactly what terrorists do.
Perhaps parts of the Geneva Conventions need to be rewritten to address the needs of nation-states wishing to protect their citizens from loosely organized homicidal maniacs and lone wolves wishing to wreak havoc; this is no doubt a conversation we’ll have under a Trump administration.
Until then, she is correct in saying international law is what it is, and Trump policy cannot cross that line.
But she wasn’t attacking him generally, as the headline suggests.
