It’s not called, because the NYT will not call it.
The NYT will not call it until the MI Secretary of State officially files final vote count paperwork 21 days after the election - even though the MI Secretary of State has already verified the result - and they have said just that.
Here is a direct quote:
“The Michigan Secretary of State will release an official vote count at the end of November. The Times plans to call the state at that time.”
They don’t want a “3” in front of his EV count until the story fades and events overtake it. They are acting like the baby-fied people they are...

Canvassing, part of the law in MI to assure/certify election results. SoS said could take till the end of the month, last I heard they also said it “usually” results in very little(if any)change from original vote count.
